Those of you suggesting we should have traded Brady to keep Jimmy G need to get your head examined.

Those of you suggesting we should have cut/traded Brady to keep Jimmy G need to get your head examined.
Who suggested the Pats cut Brady?

I would say about a quarter or so of the posters on patfans.com would rather we had kept Jimmy G rather than Brady. I meant trade, not cut.

Ok.

Yea the Garrapolites are in mourning

Lol, imagine if Brady plays until he's 46 or 47. I bet that's about the length of Jimmy G's career. Dude doesn't know how to fall when being hit.

At this rate Brady's going to play after Rodgers retires.

Trading Jimmy G. had nearly nothing to do with his abilities, and had everything to do with MONEY/CONTRACT. So let's not get into another one of these stupid wars about who's better than whom. That ain't the issue, so bury it.

I think Jimmy has the perfect home in San Francisco. Somehow, he just fits there. May he finally get a chance to play a little football, and if he flourishes, it's all fine with me.

It all comes down to one thing: 26 year old Jimmy G could not beat out 40 year old Tom Brady!!!! Jimmy thought he would, Even the Pats (BB, Kraft) thought he would, Jimmy G's Daddy thought he would but here we are folks, here we are.

This is so crazy - think about this, just take it in. We will NEVER - N-E-V-E-R see the likes of TB12 again!

112 to 106? Unacceptable

Amen and hallelujah to that. I will never understand how anybody can get fixated on the hypothetical "Quarterback of the Future" while ignoring the Hall of Fame quarterback already here. But I LOVED when Indy did it! Remember shipping off Peyton for Luck because Luck was so much better in theory and they could get more championships than Peyton got them?? That worked out so incredibly well! Not for them but for Patriots fans, at least!
