Condolences. But, it's not your fault. We all know what they say about how you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your relatives...
He's a fantastic guy and a great family man.

You're opinion means nothing and my word is final since I've known him over 40 years and you've never met him. But thanks for playing!

If you're referring to his radio personality, to each their own. But that part of life isn't important

I've stopped holding my breath on these things ever since Supreme Court judge Chin offered up an opinion of "compelling if not overwhelming" and the illegal shipment of HGH to Manning's wife led to nothing.

This will disappear.
The difference here is our legal system will not let this go. That's why the FBI is involved

Move It Along! Nothing To See Here!

Man you just got my blood boiling again on what is supposed to be a pleasant 4 day weekend.

I still CAN NOT BLEEPING BELIEVE how big a deal was made out of deflategate and how a coach getting caught cheating on live TV was completely swept under the rug.

I Hear Ya! You can just imagine what I still go through here in NY with giant fans clingin' on those 2. It's amazin' how they never mention how much they suck and irrelevant they've been.

Enjoy your weekend.

The Manlings are connected to the Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan...stupid, moonheaded, steroid cheating scumbag Pay-me-tons has a confederate flag tattooed on his ***

It simply highlights the idiocy of deflategate. While I believe Tom Brady is absolutely, 100% innocent, the whole thing response was ridiculous compared to the level of the "crime."

If the NFL had an ounce of integrity, they would've treated deflategate the way they treated walkie talkie gate.

And he's my cousin! Actually he's my second cousin. And we both grew up in Weymouth
Good memories of Weymouth:

The first time the (not very good) band I played in was at the Weymana, a big but short lived club that was once a Purity Supreme and last I saw a medical center on Rt 18 just north of the South Shore Hospital. 300 people, sold the place out for a Halloween fundraiser; according to the owner we absolutely obliterated the record at his establishment for sales at the bar, to the point where they had nothing left to serve by the end of the night....

There was also the fact that if for some reason as a youth I neglected to load up on beer Saturday night prior to 11:00 pm, on Sunday I could find one of my older veteran friends to go over to the Weymouth Naval Air Base commissary and help me out by showing their ID and buying beer for us when all the Massachusetts package stores were closed on Sunday.

On the other hand there is my ex ... also a native of the same town.

I made the mistake of scrolling down to the comment section. I'm a masochist that way (), and this is a sample of what I found:

Pats fans are just dying to see another team go through a scandal so it's not them for once. Sad!

One was an on-field advantage and was an on-eBay advantage, apples and oranges. I thought your inferiority complex was over after the NFL.com list of best players?

It's memorabilia sales versus deflating balls used in a game... wtf are you even saying

This was about 90% of the 108 comments on this blog. I understand Barstool is pretty much a cesspool for this stuff but still, there are STILL people out there who took EVERYTHING the NFL* and the media fed them during the 2 and 1/2 years of Defamegate and ate it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I truly believe these people would believe Tom Brady shot someone even if Peyton Manning was seen with a loaded gun and blood. This is what Pats fans have to deal with on a regular basis, especially those of us who live outside of the 6 states. These sheep, these lemmings who when SHOWN clear evidence of wrongdoing, shove it off as if it's not true, because it's not the guy THEY HATE. I would say I feel sorry for the state of our nation but that'd be an understatement. Sad!

It is a small sample size, but what I have found recently is that local stories (such as Barstool) end up having the comment section populated with negative comments ... but national columns (such as Pro Football Talk) have just the opposite in their comment section.

I wouldn't take the comment section of Barstool as being indicative of the nation as a whole. To start with that site is click bait for trolls. On top of that the vast majority of sport fans don't take the time to comment .... though on the other hand, they are also easily swayed by Mark Brunell, Rob Parker, etc.

If you're swayed by Rob Parker you should ,by law, be rounded up, stood against a wall and summarily executed by firing squad. You are too stupid to be allowed to live and possibly infect and damage the gene pool.

Not sure comments at the end of an article indicate much of anything.. probably the least scientific method of gauging a response to anything....

In the real world the Patriots are not liked all that much, among serious football fans they are understood, but for the most part the masses seem to hang on to cameragate and deflategate.. inow no one can be this good for this long.

This is my biggest complaint about Spygate and Deflategate. Thanks to those ridiculous sagas, I care about this Giants story, when in fact I really want to not give a crap about it.

If I were a collector I'd care a lot about the story. The odds are that there are more than just the Giants pulling off this type of a scam.

I like this story because it exposes the Giants and the Manning clan. I used to think that E-Lie was just the dumb younger brother, but he's as bad as the rest of them.

After the despicable treatment that Brady received from the NYFL I look forward to stories that expose the truth about other players and teams.

"Mr. Goodell, the leading franchise in the nation's largest city, in the home town of the NFL, has put into doubt the authenticity of EVERY PIECE OF NFL MEMORABILIA currently in the hands of any NFL fan. Every fan who possesses a jersey, or helmet, or pair of shoes, or ball, or anything else now has a nagging doubt about its authenticity. How big a fine is that worth? Do the Giants even have enough money to pay that fine? How do the fans get back their sense of security?"

I stopped buying NYFL products, other than Pats tickets and Pats related videos, quite some time ago. Even before their employee, Scott Miller, was stealing balls meant for charity from the defamegate game.

The single biggest reason to believe that the Giants might actually be in trouble is this:

The Postal Police were asking questions regarding the possibility of mail fraud. The Postal Police make IRS agents look compassionate and merciful; I know, I work for the USPS, and I've chatted with a few while in the main Boston facility for training. If the Giants, or any of their employees, used the postal service for shipping fraudulent goods (they might have used a private shipper like USP, or a courier) then they are screwed.

The most disturbing part about this story is that someone paid $5,000 for Eli Manning's dirty helmet.
Having seen first hand Lawrence Taylor walk onto a NY investment bank's trading floor for a mid-day memorabilia signing event and raise $100k in an hour for his charity, $5k for a dirty helmet of a SB champ is a bargain.

Regarding the topic at hand….sounds to me like the Giants were involved in a criminal counterfeiting operation that skirted the IRS and likely crossed interstate lines. The fact that these equipment managers haven't been fired is very telling….Protect Eli no matter the cost.
We know who the Giants' "fall guys" are….. the team is just not ready to hang them yet.
