OT Giants equipment scandal looking real bad. Employee lies to FBI

This is my biggest complaint about Spygate and Deflategate. Thanks to those ridiculous sagas, I care about this Giants story, when in fact I really want to not give a crap about it.

I want to see emails from Eli, including personal ones that have nothing to do with memorabilia so that I can judge him
I want to see all of his texts over the last several years
I want an independent investigation launched
I want the equipment managers suspended
I want a 1st round pick stripped from the Giants
I want a 4th round pick stripped from the Giants
I want Eli manning suspended for at least 4 games (this is a felony, after all)
I want ESPN anchors crying about what a liar Eli is
I want the Giants organization fined an amount equal to the amount they defrauded, multiplied by x10
I want media asking Eli "What about the children" questions, preferably right before the biggest game of his life
I want Goodell to repeat the word integrity over 500 times, while stating that he has to treat all players equally to protect the game
I want media heads flapping those holes in their faces every day about this until they've firmly destroyed his reputation outside of his region


I want all of these things... I'm sure Joker could add a few more to that list tho haha

Seriously... I know I'll sound like a whiney whatever, but everyone knows for a fact that if Brady were ever mentioned in a story like this, it would create another 24/7 news cycle painting him out to be the biggest monster on planet earth..

Instead its a Manning, and the NFL goes to great lengths to ensure that they keep the media under control and don't let anything percolate... and this is a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION, not some league investigation for violating a rule

I remember when this story got some attention back in April, the media reaction was "Eli's character is beyond question. There's no way he's involved in any wrongdoing, if any wrongdoing even occurred." Like you said, if Brady was implicated, it would lead the national news. With Eli, though, it's "Not our Eli."

Inselberg says photo-matching proves that he has the helmet Manning wore during the “Helmet Catch” Super Bowl and that the helmet the Giants sent the Hall of Fame is a fake. While the Giants have denied this, Hall of Fame officials have not acted certain that they have the real helmet.

Putting fake stuff in the Hall of Fame, no big deal. I wonder how many Giants fans took their pictures with those helmets assuming they were the real thing. I know they will, but I don't how the league can look the other way on a team defrauding their fans.

This isn't some podunk local police department and prosecutor looking into this. These are the feds. If it hasn't gone away by now, it's not going away. If it gets to a federal prosecutor filing charges, people will be in deep ****, Eli included.

I will go to my grave believing that eli knew that his jock strap being sold was not game worn. No equipment manager would dare mess with a qbs jock strap without his consent and instruction. Anyone who doesn't get this, just doesn't know how the nfl works.
