Poor call in Dallas. Looked a proper reception to me.

Russell Wilson has already run 2 in for TDs. Tonight's game is going to be full of potential playoff permutations.

so I guess the PPP factors are going to be perpetuated pacifically per palliation?....PERFECT!

Dallas got screwed on that call. That was a fumble.

Now Pittsburgh getting lucky as ****, this is just not our day so far. Getting nervous about tonight

Not like those good teams were playing scrub teams and losing. All the better teams won today.

Agree 100%. I think we all knew Indy and Baltimore wins were unlikely. But it was fun to hope. For about 15 minutes.

Atlanta to me might be the story of the day so far (besides AD). They were p[robably as sick of hearing about ELi and the Giants as I was.

Seeing Josh Brent on the Cowboys' sideline is ****ed up.

16 games is a darn long season. The Pats lost 3 games by 4 points, but the Seahows lost their 5 games by a combined total of 24 points, all while a rookie QB was learning the ropes.

Remember the first 8 games, when Chicago was 7-1, the Giants were the most clutch team in the NFL, and the Ravens looked to have the inside track on the #2 seed in the AFC East? That all seems a long, long time ago.

Seattle looks like it's a legitimate playoff contender. Good running game. Good defense. Wilson is coming around, and not making many mistakes. Their offense isn't explosive (unless they're playing Arizona), but it's as good as San Francisco's, and good enough, given their defense, to give them a shot against the likes of Green Bay, Atlanta, and anyone else in the NFC.

It's a long, long season. Pretenders fade. Other teams step up.

I'd love to whup them in the SB.

I cannot stand the fact that they refuse to call face masking on RB's when they "stiff arm".

"Dallas got screwed on that play and........and I lost interest in anything Dallas forty years ago...but Romo would make a great greeter at Disneyworld with those MM ears

Buffalo scores a TD to cut that Seattle lead in half

14-7 Seahawks

would you mind if I made a truly sophomoric response this post?

They could very well win the division. If we beat SF tonight and they beat Buffalo today the two teams will meet next week in Seattle. Last meeting between SF-Seattle, the 9ers won 13-6.

That would be something Seattle wins out and the 9ers lose to us and Seattle steals the division and possibly a bye.

Great post Mayo.

Ugh damn cowboys, never understood why teams don't hurry up after a questionable play. Pats have done this too many times also. Stop audibling and just go before the damn challenge.

Norval's boys are not exactly fighting for their coach's job.

Panthers 20
Chargers 0

heh...well...plenty of skateboarding time coming up

SD checked it in! Imagine how pissed off Steelers fans must be with that horrible loss to SD at home no less.

I wonder if the Bills will fire Chan and hire Norv next year?

You got issues brother. I'm not upset at all. I found you taking exception to the truth to be funny. And what is more comical is that you admit to the stadium being quieter than the others and yet you still made sarcastic and personal attacks, instead of debating my point which you agree with. Strange.

And no I'm not lying Miami in 09 2/3rds full was louder than any game I have attended at Gillette.
First of all, I'm not your brother, either biologically or friendship-wise, so accusing me of being "personal" seems particularly hypocritical of you. Secondly, for the third time I'm still waiting for a response to the question of how many stadiums you've been to (which you posed to me, by the way, and I responded.) Thirdly, the 09 game in Miami was a 22-21 Dolphins upset win over the heavily-favored Patriots. No wonder it was loud. By the way, the attendance that day was 70,102 (you can look it up), so that's not 2/3 full. Another lie.

Indeed, and well written. I mentioned it in another thread: A Patriots win tonight puts the AFCW in play. Well, with the Giants falling today, it also makes the battle for the 3/4 seeds a wide open one. SF could fall from the 2 seed to the 5 seed in 8 days.

do you sit around sticking pins in NFL action figurines or what?

If the Pats beat SF, Seattle wins out and wins the NFC Wes, and Green Bay loses 1 more game (possibly their week 17 game at Minnesota with the Vikings battling for a Wild Card spot), the Seattle and Green Bay would both finish 11-5 and the Seahawks would get the #2 seed based on their win over the Packers in the "Fail Mary" game. What a ruckus that would cause.

Even if they have to go on the road to Green Bay as a Wild Card or as the #3 seed, the Seahawks are well built for cold weather playoff football with a defense and a running game.
