It's interesting that the Rams are being applauded for trading into value positions where people complain on a yearly basis about BB utilizing this strategy. Strange world isn't it.

Not that I have an issue with trading down, but it's definitely a different situation. The Rams have picks of much higher value than the Pats and are getting some ridiculously good deals in return. They can pick up a bunch of second round picks while still being in a position to pick in the first round that NE would have to trade up into. Why would anyone complain about that?

The situations are different the mentality is not. The Patriots may have gotten lesser value thanks to their starting position, but they still received value from the same action.
