Just heard it on ESPN Mike n Mike show. This is really bad for the Celtics.

he isnt gonna be ready for round 1... that doesnt mean he's gone for the entire play-off's.

I heard the doc rivers interview live this morning on WEEI.

BTW... Why not listen to WEEI instead of supporting that crappy network of Patriot haters?

Dammit. That really sucks to hear. I guess that opens the door a little wider for Lebron. I just don't see them being able to get past the 2nd round w/out Garnett.

Although I can understand why you would hate on ESPN, but it isn't like Dennis and Callahan are remotely listenable anymore. They really should just give up sports and head down the dial to WRKO and talk politics full time. That is what they seem to like to talk about more anyway. I only tune in to that show anymore when Adam Schefter, Boomer Easiason, or Tom Brady is on.

Sorry to highjack the thread. It does suck for the Celts that Garnett is out for the first round, but they are good enough without him to still at least have a shot to win.

I think the Celtics can get by the baby Bulls at least. But they're probably going to get eaten up by Dwight Howard and the Magic without KG in there to crank up the defensive intensity. This is a pretty devastating development for the C's playoff hopes.

it doesnt matter what round they lose in. i personally think they will go down against the cavs in round three. all i know is there wont be any championship without KG and that sucks.

Weei BLOWS.. All the shows are a pain to listen to ...

Switched to Sirius with the NFL/NBA/MLB channels.. Incredible.. nice to listen to hosts that actually know the game and don't rant and rave about day to day stuff..

here are Docs quotes....Not sure where anyone interprets as just 1st rd but he does leave a possibilty though slim he could return at somepoint (he just doesnt see how he could now)
