If Baltimore wins I believe they are the easier matchup for the Pats but then we will hear the “oh noes the Ravens!” talk all week. Thank goodness the Giants won’t be playing us in Super Bowls anytime soon.

I think we'll beat both by 7-10 points so don't really care. But I agree about the Ravens being the easier matchup.

If this is true then you know Bill and Ernie saw this and will take advantage. Pats win comfortably.

I've been going back and forth on which team I'd prefer to see:

-Ravens: rookie QB, limited passing game but Jackson can beat you with some throws; very good running game, which is the weak point of our D

-Chargers: well-rounded team, back-to-back games on the East coast, temperatures should be in the high 20s next week, which might hurt their passing game a bit

I think right now I'd prefer the Chargers, only because of the weather and travel for them

Chargers are the more complete team but Baltimores d worries me. When theyre on they are dominant. In the regular season matchup they went into la and held the chargers to under 200 yards. I think Baltimore wins today but really have no preference for next week, tough game either way. Baltimore being one dimensional does help though, if were not in nickel/ dime packages i think we are ok stopping the run.

Harbaugh is acutely aware of this- he's not going to come up to Foxboro and keep doing that.

This is a guy who never got over the eligible receiver trick we pulled on them. He was humiliated and embarrassed. You can bet he has been chomping on the bit to get back at us.

Reminder: the BROWNS put up 426 yards on that amazing Ravens defense in Baltimore in an elimination game last weekend.

The Chargers missed M Gordon last time. He will be ready today. Should be interesting.

If it’s the Ravens I hope we catch them “cheating” somehow. J Kraft is on record and he loathes that organization so what goes around comes around.

    That would be delicious.

This would be the best possible outcome. But we all know even if the Ravens cheated and we caught em the NFL would turn a blind eye to it and when responding to it will just play dumb. Not the Pats, not a problem....

Gordon was 12/41 (3.4 ypc) rushing, with 1 TD against BAL two weeks ago, 3/3 receiving for 13 yards.

Then he was 10/42 (4.2 ypc) rushing last week @DEN, 3/3 receiving for 24 yards.

He's "probable" (unofficially) with an ankle issue for today. Ekeler is also "probable" with a groin injury.

Thought I read he missed the last game with them but I guess he didn’t. I’m sure him and Allen were not 100% though

He did play, not sure how much more effective he’ll be if thats what u mean. The story of that game imo was how bmore dominated in the trenches on both sides, which is where sd needs to do better this time.

Chargers will win this game by at least 12 points ...
That being said I don't care who wins - will Ray Lewis be there for a speech?

It could be the Patriots vs. a pee wee football team and many on here would be "worried and concerned"

Since when is a losing record considered good?

They have a nucleus of promising young talent that hasn't won anything yet.

I just have the feeling that Rivers will be under extreme pressure all game. Ravens will have at least 5 sacks and RIvers will be lucky to finish the game.
