so Pherein...any word on the Goodell slam dunk from this summer???I mean, there was no chance that the Saints would escape Maxwell's Silver Hammer as sung by ol' trustworthy Rog...anything new??...or is the cyclopean rhino that is the Omissioner lost in the Cretan Labyrinth of the Minotaur?...hmmm...there's a little bit of symmetry...Cretan/cretin...

It's okay, doubt Chargers would've done much anyways. Hey with the Chargers we are used to know, I'll DEFINITELY take that half from them lol Suprisingly they managed that half very well - no turnovers, converted on both of their scoring opportunites, and solid special teams not giving Baltimore any short fields. Let's hope they don't self destruct in the 2nd half.

Yeah true. Rivers is playing much better than in recent weeks. His line is still bad. Their DBs are matching with the ravens receivers very well. I wonder what the Talib-effect will be if we meet the Ravens again.

Very significant, I would guess. You should be able to put Talib on Bolden and forget about him, while putting Dennard on Torrey Smith with help over the top from McCourty. Play both WRs physical and bump them within 5 yards. Or something to that effect. Use Wilson underneath on the TE, and make sure that the DBs and LBs make the receivers pay for every catch.

I don't see the Ravens putting up 31 on us again. They only did that the first time with the help of the replacement refs and a dubious field goal at the end of the game, anyway. And with the kind of protection Brady has been getting, I don't see their defense being that much of an obstacle.

Well the Saints problems have always been on defense, that's nothing new. But this is the first time in recent years that they haven't had a winning record at this point in the season, you can clearly see the correlation in the team's overall success with Payton there. Some of those losses were close games too which could've been won with better management.

This looks like the worst D of the Payton/Brees era, that's basically what I'm saying...

WOW Brees pick 6.

Kapernick is looking pretty bad though too, Harbaugh is going to have his hands full with this one IMO

TBH, that was poetic justice given the stupidity of coming out throwing there. You're at home, up by a TD and have the ability to run out the clock to half time.

Really stupid pick 6 Brees throwing into solid coverage
K's pick was understandable given the bad snap, esp for a rookie starting season

crap! Here come the Ravinz

It could be. I'd have to look it up but I do remember last year's D being pretty awful too.

Ahhh man horrible tackling by SD and Smith breaks a big one. Just horrible angles/tackling Please hold them to 3.

The spirit of Sanchass is alive in New Orleans today.

Brees trying to GIVE the game away to the 9ers after the Saints outperform them in the 1st half, but give away a freebie pick SIX to allow them to tie it up.

If Kaepernick continues to struggle, Harbaugh will have opened the door to a big mess.

LOL, I think the truth will come out. In the end, like Drew says.

We can only hope that this self designated genius overcoaches his team into less than optimal performance in the SB

Big mistake. Might have cost us the game. We were clearly kicking ass.

6th sack for Baltimore today :bricks:

The real Chargers are rearing their ugly head

Big mistake. Might have cost us the game.

double mistake
team pushing too aggressively while still in your own territory
completely clueless decision throwing into severely crowded traffic coverage

I'm wicked pissed!

And why not try to get a quick score? A pick six like that can happen at any point in a game.

who is that well constructed hottie on Fox 25 news at halftime?

yeah, we are to, but Brees is not Brady, hes always going to throw those passes to trust a WR. Doesn't always work out. good thing is our OL seems to be ok, and we are getting pressure.
