My wife had the actual flu a few weeks back and she normally never gets sick. 103.5 degree fever and sick for well over a week. I had the flu shot before (she hadn't, yet) and I skated by just fine. The strain hitting Florida is pretty nasty.

Went to urgent care and got the fever under control, then got an Rx for Tamiflu, though it was probably too late for Tamiflu to help
