Yeah it's possible he starts. But I tend to think if JG plays well (which he very well could do) they are going to roll with JG and then figure out what to do with the QBs after the season. If JG has any issues I can definitely see the rookie getting in there if they think he is ready. The problem is all of this does not add up to JG being traded before the season. At least not as I see it.You are ignoring the fact that they traded 3 #1s plus a 3 for that qb, so they will find out if he sucks by him starting and he will surely be starting at least at some point in 2021. That means they are spending 26 million on a lame duck QB. Saving 26 million and getting a 2nd or 3rd is far better than wasting 26 million.
