Only 8 left, like my 18 pack of PBR.

As an avid Big Ten watcher, I can say Tavon Wilson is a hard-nosed player whose athleticism and play-making abilities are such that he failed to achieve much. Two INTs over a career.

First team Big Ten? No.
Second team Big Ten? Nope.
Honorable Mention? Ah, no.

This franchise can't draft successfully DBs in the second through fourth rounds. Too many misses.

Even if I'm wrong and Wilson has a successful NFL career the idea that he wouldn't be available at 62 is like saying giraffes got long necks by stretching for leaves in the trees.

Total nonsense.

What's so frustrating about today is that if followed such a fulfilling and exhilarating yesterday. I am really pissed I skipped my evening walk so I could watch the 2nd round. A complete waste of a beautiful evening.

I had no Idea Neil Patric Harris was a Pat's fan. Welcom aboard Neil.

Saneu off the board...

No one was trolled harder then Saneu...

…Who ever was that scumbag who prank called him yesterday needs to kill himself..

..Just saying, just my thoughts, just what I am feeling at this time…

The prank caller was not a scumbag, he was a psychic. He did say that Cinci was drafting him did he not?

The pick seemed strange to me, but apparently he wasn't the 212th rated player to *BILL BELICHICK*, and his opinion is really the only one that matters.
The last time Bill Belichick reached this far in the second round, the player selected was Terrence Wheatley in the 2008 NFL Draft.

So please defend that second round draft selection from the 2008 NFL Draft especially since the player is no longer on the New England Patriots roster.

Wilson is reported to be ace gunner. That makes Slater potentially expendable. It doesn't mean it will, just that it's possible.

Slater just signed that deal of his. I doubt BB's looking at Wilson to replace Slater.

There is a serious chance the Patriots could have traded down to the 7th round and Tavon Wilson would have still been there. LOL.

You have to admire Belichick... he truly doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks

Do you know this for sure. Just because amateur scouts rank players one way, doesn't mean teams do. This is a weak safety class, I think it's possible that the safety rankings are probably all over the place.

I certainly hope Tavon Wilson is better than Sergio Brown.

As soon as I read instant gunner for wilson i said goodbye sergio brown.

Most of the players I was looking at as possibilities for 48 & 62 are still available with a few already taken, and mostly at positions not an immediate need. (Sanu, Randle, Hayward, James, Curry already taken to list a few, we could still get Boykin, Iloka, Minnifield and others) The trade back is starting to look a little better, as is the pick at 48.

so anybody agree or think anything of this?
Jared Crick, DT, Nebraska
Jared Crick hopes to follow the newly-found tradition of the Nebraska Huskers putting elite defenders into the NFL. Crick had 18.5 sacks in his 2009 and 2010 seasons. He's been quieter this year with double-teams in his face all season, but is still considered near the Top 5 at his position.
Crick has the size to play anywhere along the defensive line in a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. He'll need to continue to add girth to his frame to quell the doubters who question his size to play defensive tackle at the next level.

Why are you asking me to defend the drafting of Terrence Wheatley? Or of Tavon Wilson, for that matter (since, apparently, the two are related)?

If it's not worth arguing about, and I agree with that, then quit pretending that you aren't bright enough to see that I'm responding to precisely what you were claiming.

You made a really stupid argument, and then you were too damn stubborn to just admit it. Let it die now.

If you seriously want to play the game that you know what I am trying to say better than I do, you will have to play with yourself.

I totally agree that the argument you are arguing against is stupid. However, it is simply one you created, not one I made.
NOW let it die, and prove you can one time not need the last word.

That's the thing. Obviously no one wanted to trade, so he said fark it.

I really thought it would be ron brooks at some point but that might be redundant.
