Wilson is durable (49 out of 50 games) and tough - workout "rat" - 2 things we haven't seen enough in DBs much lately. He is a team player - moved to safety because of injuries. He can back up both corners and safeties. Hard hitter, good against the run. Here is a review I don't think I've seen here;
ProFootballWeekly.com - Draft Prospect - Tavon Wilson

It was posted in the Patriots Day 2 thread.. But it's still a good read.

1. I read your post. I interpreted your post correctly, and you know I did.

2. You're wildly misrepresenting much of the board with regards to McCourty.

I'd continue, but that's enough. This is a stupid argument about a really stupid argument. If you want to pretend that "But the board gets it wrong sometimes, especially when it's a first reaction!" is meaningful, you go for it. The rest of us will realize that it's meaningless.

Its not worth arguing about. You misunderstood my post, and continue to.
There is no point arguing about why your response has nothing to do with the point of my post.

Nice pick by Dallas..

Who will win the training camp battle, Ross Ventrone or Tavon Wilson.

My money's on Ventrone.

This is why so many posters on here don't get taken seriously.

The most notable thing about that is that not only did he get a little shorter from 2011 to 2012 but his arm length shrank over 2 inches!

I'd hate to be his tailor.

this draft is seriously all over the place. I don't think any 2 teams agree on anything.

Reportedly, Wilson moved up due to workouts private and his Pro Day (sub 4.5). At least that's what I heard on WEEI. The analysts never updated. Couple that with an obviously weak draft, it's apparent that Wilson is something of a prospect and he may make Slater expendable. It seems weak to me but this is too high a pick for BB to simply blow. He must have something.

Slater is one of the best special teamers in the league. He plays on all the different STs units AND the Pats just gave him a new 3 year deal.. But, yeah, adding Wilson is going to make Slater expendable..

Malik Jackson, Lamar Miller, Ron Brooks, Juron criner, Cam Johnson to add to previous lists

The typical draft class drops a whole size around Combine season. NCAA laundry staffs just crank the dryer up to high and move on.

Ventrone won't be on the team come the end of camp. Wilson will be. Book it.
