give the seats to the first ten K that sniff HER feet while the fat slob sits in the corner with a pair of tweezers and some vaseline...

What confuses me about this is the guy's wearing a Jimi Hendrix T-shirt. That would seem to indicate he has some sort of discriminating taste ...

The fat bloated green goon probably PAID that guy to sniff her digits...

The Jets plan to use the high restricted free agency tender on Maybin in 2012, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. As a result, Maybin will be entitled to a one-year salary in the range of $2.5 million, the Jets will have a chance to match any offer Maybin accepts with another team, and the Jets ultimately will be entitled to receive a first-round pick as compensation if the Jets choose to let Maybin walk.

Report: Jets to use first-round RFA tender on Maybin | ProFootballTalk

Maybin somehow finished with six sacks. From what I saw of them I'm guessing that most were third-and-long delayed-blitz coverage sacks. I recall a couple, specifically, where nobody was open and the quarterback turtled as Maybin swung around from way outside the line. It's not like the guy suddenly showed skills that Buffalo somehow missed. The first-round tender is a joke; the Green Beans probably have no other use for it.

Most of his sacks were from clean up.

He would line up opp. the overload side and the O line would shift to the overload side leaving Maybin one on one with a tackle or TE or RB.
He used his speed to get around his blocker and by that time, the qb would slowly shift away from the overload side.

Good scheme for a speed rusher.

Wonder what's going to happen when the jets miss the playoffs..again

Which playoffs...the ones in January or the ones in April? they seem to do pretty well in April.

and ,of course, there's the September Super bowl trophy all the idiotic green goon fans brag about every single season for 44 years straight now....wonder which sexual degenerate/thief/cheat/deadbeat/stool pigeon piece of crap in the draft the Rats "select" for this season's debacle?

or how about the "omg tanny is a genius...best GM in football" BS that i hear every year from those twats

So the Jets are looking to trade Bart Scott. Let's see, an overrated ILB on the wrong side of 30, declining skills, a loud mouth, and a contract with $4.2 million guaranteed this year. I'd offer a bag of footballs for Bart Scott and the Jets' 2nd rounder to take that cap albatross off their hands.

The Jets would cut Scott, but they don't have the cap room to do it because of them giving him a guaranteed salary this year to get cap room last year. And yes, the cap is crap.

I'll be really annoyed if some team is dumb enough to take him and give the Jets 4 million in cap relief.

Maybe the Pats could throw in Gary Guyton.

Sorry, Guyton has more value. Yeah, Guyton sucks, but he sucks at a scrub's salary. Scott sucks at a high tier ILB salary. You can get about 8 Guytons for Scott's guaranteed money for 2012.

Here's an alternative link so we don't give the NY paper clicks.

New York Jets Allow Bart Scott to Seek Trade: What It Means for Both Sides | Bleacher Report

Yeah, it's Bleacher Report, but it's Erik Frenz; he's one of the few BR writers worth reading (he writes for NESN now too).

As Pro Football Talk's Gregg Rosenthal points out, the Jets are paying the consequence of restructuring Bart Scott's deal last year. Because of that, they are locked in for his $4.2 million salary this year unless they trade him.

There’s no chance Scott would get that much guaranteed money on the open market. So there’s even less of a chance that a team will give up a draft pick in order to pay Scott. The bigger question following this news: Will the Jets simply cut Scott when they find no takers for him?

But he wouldn't be under contract when FA begins.

There's only one team that would be enticed to pay $4M to a has-been, overrated, mouthy linebacker with nothing but a well-recognized name. And the problem for the Jets is that the Jets can't trade him to the Jets.
