I'm thinking about buying a club seat for this one. I love being at the game, yet I am a ****y who hates the cold, so that could work.
My son and I have waffled about going since Sunday. Each day that passes we more toward “whatever you want to do” or “it’s nice and warm in front of the 75” TV in the man cave”.

We are 3 hours away, which turns into over 4 to get out and get home so that complicates it. If we were close I think the cold would matter less, it’s just a good excuse to cover 7 hours in the car on top of the cold.
3 hours in comfort vs a 12 hour round trip to be in the cold is a tough call vs the fun of being there.

Yes, exactly! I am a little less than an hour way, but still the same.

I personally wouldn't be shocked if Collins doesn't play again until next season even if the Texans go to the Super Bowl. Two concussions within a few months of each other and this last one looked significant.
I would agree. But Houston has only one more game.
Those two statements are not incompatible.

Since we're mentioning who's going, wife and I are going this Sunday too. I actually had a good mind of holding out and seeing if we get to host the Bills next week but didn't want to miss a chance at the potential final home game of the season

We've been to the 14 and 16 championship games and the 19 Wildcard. Stoked to get back there. I remember when I lived in Brighton we'd take the train to the games. Now we drive in from NH. Should be a blast

He was a full participant in practice without a non-contact jersey. So he's definitely in final stage of protocol. He's still technically questionable until his final neurological check after practice to make sure no symptoms recur (if there were even any symptoms to begin with).

I wonder if they sit Landry (still questionable) in exchange for the edge guy they just signed? He didn't do much last game.
Landry was DNP on Friday (either rest or he's going to be inactive) and Gonzalez is good to go. This is about as good an injury report as we've had the whole season.

And for the Texans, Brown is listed as questionable:

Landry continuing to be questionable seems to me to be setting up for the newly acquired Darrell Taylor to make his debut against his old team.

Where can I find a prop bet on his having a sack or otherwise making a big play?

Makes sense. All pairings have decent fanbases at the least except the Texans. So you could say they haven't fronted their half of viewership in the ticket pricing, so-to-speak

Edit: Actually, to be honest, that's me guessing because I don't really know how big or small their market is. It seems the smallest of the bunch, though

Enjoy!

I have been to around a dozen playoff games. The atmosphere is amazing... so much more intense than a regular season game.

I think I'm like 8-4 seeing them live, with two of those losses vs the Giants

Yikes two super bowl losses blows. We've lost the last two Buffalo home games I've attended. No other loss compares to that (and I went to thr 4th and 2 game) because they spend the entire walk to the lot singing their stupid effing Shout song and it drives me crazy.

You realize this means if they win and host the Bills next week you are not allowed to go, right?

Right - I did my fair share of freezing my ass on the 20 degree aluminum bleachers at Schafer and Sullivan Stadium in November and December back when games were blacked out if we didn't sell out (which we typically did not, especially in the McPhearson/Rust Eras)

So you and I have more than paid our dues to be warm and comfortable for these games!

But you'll be sitting there all alone

Im always dress for the cold, ski gear, and I've never been cold even in brutal weather both for AFCCG's in Foxboro and games in Buffalo.

The best advice I ever got was to take plastic bags (like sliced bread plastic) and put those around my feet.

That wrapping kept my feet much much toastier than any foot or hand warmer.

Another advantage!

I've been to two cold weather games at Gillette, and several in Buffalo.
They didn't even compare to the GB/NYG wildcard game I went to in GB a few years back.
It was a different cold, bone chilling.
All the locals had a piece of foam to stand on as apparently the cold from the concrete can really get into your feet. I did not, but I did have hand warmers. My feet were numb, went in at halftime put the warmers in my boots. Made all the difference, seriously don't think I could have got thru the second half without them.
That's what the Rams get to play in Sunday night!
