They didn't even compare to the GB/NYG wildcard game I went to in GB a few years back.
It was a different cold, bone chilling.
All the locals had a piece of foam to stand on as apparently the cold from the concrete can really get into your feet. I did not, but I did have hand warmers. My feet were numb, went in at halftime put the warmers in my boots. Made all the difference, seriously don't think I could have got thru the second half without them.
That's what the Rams get to play in Sunday night!
You only live once.
Yeah it’s a big advantage. So how could Allen lose to Nix?Playoff time:
Bills VS Jags The better QB won
Texans VS Steelers The better QB won
Patriots VS Chargers The Better QB won
Bears VS Chargers (?) Toss up.
When the playoffs come around the team with the better quarterback usually wins.
I'll take the Patriots
Yeah it’s a big advantage. So how could Allen lose to Nix?
I do think the healthier team has an advantage as well and Denver home field is a unique advantage but its still Allen vs Nix so expect Bills to win
My coldest game was easily the playoff game against the Titans in January of 2004 which was the coldest game in Patriots history, with windchill chill it was 17 below. We were all dealing with frozen beers. What’s odd the second coldest game the Pats played in was also a playoff game against the Titans.I believe the coldest playoff game I have ever been to was the 2007 AFCCG vs SD (January 2008). Single digits. That one was bitter.
Also Ring it could be snowing on your way home after the game.My son and I have waffled about going since Sunday. Each day that passes we more toward “whatever you want to do” or “it’s nice and warm in front of the 75” TV in the man cave”.
We are 3 hours away, which turns into over 4 to get out and get home so that complicates it. If we were close I think the cold would matter less, it’s just a good excuse to cover 7 hours in the car on top of the cold.
3 hours in comfort vs a 12 hour round trip to be in the cold is a tough call vs the fun of being there.
You're probably right. I've lived in New England 11 years. Lived 2 years in Germany. The most painful winter I've ever felt was at 4AM in Mississippi in February. Couldn't even ball my fists up in gloves. I always chalked it up to being right on the Gulf Coast. It sucksIt is the wind off lake Michigan, IMO.
I also have gone to cold games at Gillette….snowy cold is better than dry/windy cold, IMO. Something to do with moisture.
Haters all of them. Zero respect for this team.
I was there. It was pretty tough. The coldest game for me was the AFCCG against Jax in 1997, I think. 0 degree wind chill all game long.I believe the coldest playoff game I have ever been to was the 2007 AFCCG vs SD (January 2008). Single digits. That one was bitter.
Mina, like her. Might not like her pick but she at least backs up her analysis with logical reasoning.
YeahIf he's 70% right, odds say one of those teams isn't winning, and the two AFC games seem the tightest matchups.
I don’t know about that, but all of them think the Pats aren’t that good because of their schedule. I like it actually. Love it when the Pats get under estimated over and over. They want this Texans defense to be the 85 Bears so badly, because it's the only talking point they can really hang their hats on.
It's not - it's the Manning-era Colts defense with better players up the middle.
It's both things, really.I don’t know about that, but all of them think the Pats aren’t that good because of their schedule. I like it actually. Love it when they get under estimated over and over.
