I don’t think there’s any way that they keep Danny Etling, at least not on the 53 man roster. I think that might be a waste of a spot.

Dawson to IR (missed too much of TC)
Langi to IR after week 1 for return, Bolden or King is signed in his place, and either get cut or replace someone else who gets injured.
Either Decker or Britt placehold for Edelman
Karras is backup to Andrews
PS will have two guards and two tackles, hence only 3 of each on active roster.
This year, pray to God, is the year that Richards finally gets left off the roster.
Crossen and Jackson to either PS with good money, or IR with mysterious ailments.

I put my biggest question marks in bold. I'm kind of reaching with Crossen, because I thought he made some aggressive plays. The two WRs are really interesting because you need to develop someone to backup Edelman.

I think they keep the extra TE (in this case Tye), until Edelman comes back, then re-evaluate.

I never know who to pick for reserve OL, so I picked Croston and John for no particular reason. Swap any two you like in their place.

Ryan Lewis was my pick, but that spot to me is more about which CB or S shows enough ST value to stay. It could be (dun dun DUNNNNN) Jordan Richards, Nate Ebner, etc.

Here is what I go going into the third pre-season game.

Some thoughts on things that could change....

Hoyer: he has not been good, but I can't see the Pats going with Ettling instead, and I can't see them bringing anyone else in at this point, unless it is someone who knows the system. So in the end I think Hoyer makes the team.

ST Players: It may be the end of the line for one of the big three: Slater, Boldin, or Ebner. I see King making it as a LB and ST player. I have all three making the team in this version, but it may change.

WR: Get an extra spot with the Edleman suspension, I haven't sen anything from Decker, I think Friday might be a make it or break it night for him. Don't discount the Pats getting both White and Michel on the field at the same time with one in the backfield and the other in the slot. I lean towards more RBs than WRs on the final roster.

DB: Jason McCourty has shown nothing, he might be cut. Is Cyrus Jones playing on Firday? He needs to show something.

I wouldn't be so quick to anoint Riley McCarron for a Roster spot he has shown absolutely nothing thus far. If Devin Lucien plays well Friday night he could be a final Roster surprise.

It’ll be interesting to see if Cyrus Jones gets some opportunities tomorrow, because there’s definitely an opening for him to earn a spot if he has gotten over the yips. Even just consistently catching the punts (I know, I know) basically puts him equal to what McCarron and Berrios have shown as returners, but we know Jones has the ability to do so much more than that.
