He was a much bigger loss than people seem to acknowledge. In addition, I believe had Brady not hurt his ankle in the AFCCG, he'd been able to maneuver enough in the pocket to get passes off or not take sacks.

Bill should've drafted Jon Beason or Paul Posluszny instead of the Stomper, like many of us in the draft forum wanted him to do.

I remember the draft experts and media were high on Beason going to NE. I was never crazy about the stomper. I thought Mayo was taken too high in '08.

Chiefs were the first to completely expose their defense and the Chargers ran the same run plays with a WR faking a reverse after the handoff.

That back breaking home loss to the Jets in week 16 where Martin was gashing them on the ground and Chad Pennington dropping bombs to Laveranues Coles was tough to watch.
