I like Flowers a lot, but he is a technician, not a superior athlete (compared to his peers).

You may not have noticed, but BB appears to have a significant preference for competent and versatile technicians, versus "superior athletes" who are one-trick ponies. Seems to have worked pretty well so far.

I don't have a problem with it. He's almost certainly better than what you can get at pick 95 and quality depth at tackle is a necessity anyways. I expect the Patriots to end up with a 3rd and 4th from trading back with one of the 2nds anyways. It gives you a lot of options and means you don't have to start a rookie if he's not ready. We were fretting about tackle 6 weeks ago and now it feels like a positional strength.

So is Cannon hurt? Is Garcia not ready? or do they plan to move Cannon to LT? None of this makes sense. The only way this makes sense is a trade of Mason, or moving Mason or Wynn to Center.

Release Cannon next season and use "hes" money on Mason ( We are alowt to dream right ?
