Patriots Redzone offense...oh boy...

I don't understand? Seems like you're suggesting that because his first year starting wasn't as good as Brady he shouldn't be bonding and can't have a little fun with teammates. Maybe I'm missing your point.
Yes it's confusing SBB his points. If you remember Brady himself said that he didn't understand how much he need to transform his body and remain in shape.. when he was younger...until he got with AG.. he said he would likely had been done by the time he was 30 due to the shoulder.

This.

And it really isn’t that hard to be better than that abomination of an offense last season. Absolutely no minutes of sleep were lost by any of the DC’s last year when they were laying their game plans to play the Patriots.
It was a joke to what we put out there at the OT spots last season in comparison to this season. As you perfectly said the tackles were turnstiles. Even though Brissett sucked too the OL didn't help him.

I'm confused. Didn't a Brady offense read and react to what the defense was doing. Wasn't it predicated on defensive tendencies. When a defense showed a certain look Brady knew what reciever he was going too. Didn't McDaniels say it can all change from series to series? So are you saying run, run, pass was scripted? I.M.O it was about how best to get to the sticks and keep the drive going. Box was light, run, blitz was coming, 3 step, zone is a seam route.
No. I’m saying 2 competing philosophies are
1) prioritizing trying to never get in 3rd and medium or long (run, run, pass ideology)
2) running your offense to create chunk plays.

By the nature of the sport you can’t take everything, so 1 usually results in fewer chunks plays and a lot of 3rd downs to make while 2 results in more 3rd and longs but creates more big plays and requires fewer 3rd down conversions to go the length of the field.

There were games where the dynasty pats played each way. They were so much better than some opponents they could afford to play style 1 and still put up points, but every situation I saw them struggle in was playing style 1 against good teams. We would move the ball but ultimately short circuit on 3rd down, sometimes fluky plays.

I'm still confused? I expect Drake has worked extremely hard this off-season. And even this was preceded by a throwing session with a bunch of teammates. I don't understand the criticism.
I.M.O. which is suspect I see it this way. This franchise had the GOAT. He has had processes that made him special similar to special forces and elite training skills. Me as the qb of almost the worst team i would call up Robert Kraft. I would ask him to get me to meet Brady for a couple of days. (CASH IN ON A FAVOR). In them days I would ask Tom to give me his off season training schedule to the letter. What drills, what tape he watched, what trainers he used and record all his words. It's called Humble pie and a big dose of it.
Every goat player has rituals that delivered his success plan. If you watched the video Brady had his shoulder pads and helmet on. Why you should ask? Simulation, preparation, practicing in what you play in. Experience this kid does not have. Like an internship. This kid could get a couple of nuggets. Brady honed his skills with incredible work ethic. Working ONLY on making HIS play better for the team. Maye needs this mindset. You can't speak it, you do it. Yes, I'm a prude, I want Superbowl winning drives, Superbowl winning qb and Superbowl winning coaches. Brady showed the world a template. Might work, might not but if I was Maye I'd be on my knees like Eldelman begging to practice to learn from and be around greatness. Not just grab ass ball and boat videos. I WANNA WIN THIS SEASON. Do what it takes, hire the best and learn.

I'd like to think that Josh has most of this info already and that Maye has fallen completely inline already. I'm confused why you think some water sports is indicating otherwise. Especially when they practiced before playing.

As Belichick would say, I don't know what it's like because I'm just a coach...

I think we will be all right.

Up front we will have:

Campbell/Strange&Sow&Robibsons/Bradbury&Wilson/Onwenu/Moses.

If Campbell pans out..we will be solid in 4 spots up front. Then bring in our Tight ends for a jumbo package with both Stevenson/Gibson and split out another WR to make it 9 on 10 at the goal line with Maye doing a rush push behind Onwenu!

So any thoughts on our 30th ranking last year and Buffalo was 2nd. What will be our ranking this year, hopefully between 10 and 15. Run or pass in the Redzone? I say we focus on running. Not enough proven weapons to throw too yet.
With Stevenson and Henderson on the roster? You bet your bottom dollar.

That said, Henderson will be a backfield weapon for the pass as well.

Are we discounting the impact of bringing back McDaniels??
A very close second to the lack of talent is the lack of unimaginative and unpredictable offense play and play calling.
Anticipate Josh will do enough to at least make the offense fun and interesting to watch again.

Will hollins be a injury settlement guy or IR guy . Donno how he will leap the depth chart with 0 practice so far.

Polk looks tall . Bourne looks ripped. Diggs movement is super fluid. Looks like Bourne might make the 53.

Diggs , Douglas , Williams - lock

Boutte , Polk, Bourne , Hollins , Chism - 3 out of 6

Hollins will be IRed.
Chism might make it too.

Boutte, Polk and Bourne fighting out for last 2 spots.

Tom Brady also did recreational activities.

You can’t IR a player who isn’t injured.

Has he participated in any drills this off-season? Hopefully he's ready for camp but he seems like a PUP candidate for now.

Of course, great family man, good golfer, kept him reputation squeaky clean.
You mean like getting married to your high school sweetheart or do mean like chasing after actresses like Tara Reid?

Drake likes golfing too.
