You see him high 5 someone in the owners booth yesterday? Then the call is overturned.. that moment if embarrassment should be enough to at least have a team meeting to ask what are we really doing here. We have our 3rd round pick here.. there is no reason to keep playing Brissett. The experiment is over!
3rd Overall.

I'm not grasping. The rule states that if there is a delay between when your top of your foot or the back of your foot touches our of bounds AFTER it established inbound contact, it is a touchdown.

Polk toes touch down first. Then there is a delay before the bottom of his foot touches.

You are categorically wrong that the entire foot has to be inbound.
No im not wrong its the most basic rule in the game.

Show me this fantom rule you are referring to.

When you take a step there is not a “delay” between parts of the foot landing.

You could tell by his reaction that Polk knew he had his foot inbounds. Apparently so did the ref.

It's funny when I think of it. For years now I've been complaining about the officiating in the NYFL and on Sunday a ref makes a tough call in a big situation, get's it right and then his call is overturned by some anonymous former Jet employee hiding behind the screen.
It wasn’t a catch.

He didn't say "the entire foot has to be inbound." He said, "When your foot lands every piece that touches the ground must be in bounds." That makes sense. If Polk lifted his foot off the ground just after the ball of his foot touched the ground, it would've been a TD.

Correct

Your missing the part that states the delay needs to be outside the normal continuous motion of taking a step which includes heel-toe or toe-heel. This is precisely what occurred here and exactly why the rule exists.

I disagree. I think it is his normal continuous motion. He had his foot exactly where he wanted it.

Except had he fell on his ass after telling his toe it would of been a TD.

Instead, once the toe tapped and then the rest of the foot continued outside of inbounds, it's not.

This makes no sense. Why is a toe tap ok in one scenario but not in the next.
It’s not a “tap” if the rest of the foot lands

They just announced that Peppers was arrested Friday night for an assault and drug possession. WTF
JFC,

Peppers, 29, was arrested. Police said he will be charged wtih assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of cocaine.

He wanted his herl out of bounds?

No you not understand what continuous motion means?

Please post this rule you are referring to, it doesn’t say what you think it does.

But his foot WAS in bounds when it landed? Am I in the twilight zone here?

His heel was out of bounds, after the delay, and there for we have a touchdown.

I agree the call was correct, but I still don't understand why it's okay on a sideline drag and not in the end zone.

Ok so we actually agree then if it was part of his normal continuous motion then it is out of bounds. It's clear as day both in the rule and in the replay.

Oh it does. His toe is in bounds. Play over.
