I like Sokol as TE2 over Firkser (while Gesicki is out) and I don't think Lumpkin has a chance. Washington is interesting, but no one moves the needle.

Because of weak OL they desperately need a good inline blocking TE, Sokol is that guy of the guys on the current roster

My guess it is a combination of: Poor pass blocking, holding the ball too long, WR's not gaining separation, and etc...

Like Belichick says...you want to have the pass rush marry the secondary...or something like that...

They treat joint practices like the preseason games. They might encourage them to be a bit more conservative.
