The last thing I want to read, to be honest. Coming off the heels of a preseason game that was already screen/check down city. It's practice, test some windows.

My biggest problem with Mac first 2 yrs is that he ignores receivers wide open in the flats, and he checks down to them too late when downfield plays don't materialize, and by then defenders have already closed down on those short routes. He needs to take those easy play (which the Bills and Phins ALWAYS use against us) and rack up that YAC.

I totally disagree with this. I think it's his big weakness. I've been criticizing him for it his 1st 2 years.

True, but it wasn’t good enough last season when he had to go 15 or 20 yards each set of downs because of all the false starts.

The most important part of practice is decision making. Let’s practice making risky decisions doesn’t lead to good game results.
