Let's give Borne a one way ticket to Minnesota in exchange for a 6th Rd pick.
Also they have a receiver that is suspended three games, I’m sure there will be discussions between the two organizations the next three days.

For what it's worth (nothing), new jersey numbers, per the Pats website:

RB Shane Watts, signed Aug 12 - #30
DT Kyle Peko, signed Aug 11 - #72
DT Jereme Robinson, signed Aug 10 - no uniform #, no profile photo
So he doesn't really exist.

Kyle Williams look so accomplished running routes. I think that was one of the reasons why we use to miss on so many WR's. We selected guys who stunk at route running and also can't catch: Harry and Thornton comes to mind. KW looks like a steal: I think his name is going to be 7\11 always open.

I think Vrabel has pushed McDaniels to really develop the run game first, and it showed in preseason game 1.

One thing I found interesting is that they used runs to the left side so much, even though theoretically they will probably be better running to the right behind Onwenu and Moses. That said, Wilson and Campbell are plenty strong too, so they may be good going both ways. Bradbury is a mauler in the run game as well, even if he sucks in pass pro.

Campbell and Wilson's downfield blocking are far superior than Onwenu and Mo Mo.

Isn’t it amazing how we struggled to draft WRs who can separate and catch. One would think those should be the first things you look for in a WR prospect!

Aside from Jordan Addison, Minnesota's backup slot receiver is out for the season as well, placed on IR Aug 12.

Maybe one of our surplus guys impresses them today and tomorrow, a deal gets done, and we can finally see the end of all talk about us carrying 7 WRs.

We opened 7 on the initial 53 last year. Why do some folks think it’s impossible to happen this year?

Gotta feel bad for the poor kid. That's what's called Buzzard's Luck right there

Impossible? No. But Josh like to use a FB and their was more unknowns at WR last season. We have more talent at the top with Diggs and Williams. Boutte is coming along as well. I guess it's a numbers game. We'll see.

I feel as though last year was a bit of an anomaly due to two receivers being drafted early; they were roster locks regardless of performance.

On the other hand with Lampe and Larison now on IR, the roster construction has a new dynamic. The Pats could conceivably head into the season with three RBs rather than four, opening a roster spot at another position.

They’d look so much better if they ended with a completed pass

Like who? Polk injured. Bourne injured. Boutte? Baker?

Williams? How much would it take? Although he’s not making catches to impress…

What trade offer would it take to pry Boutte away?

I don’t think they’d be impressed enough to make a good offer on Baker.

Maybe Chism? But they need outside more than slot, although they do need both.

Who is their QB3?

I blame the QB's if the pass is out of his reach: and blame him if it's a drop. I think the problem is more the Former both QB's than the latter His hands.
