OT: Your Favorite Christmas Songs

I like this one too, as well as the original "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Judy Garland.

Reading through this thread I now feel good about myself that I cannot be the only one who immediately makes the Sirius XM radio Christmas music station my No. 1 choice the moment it begins each year, sometime around mid-November. I am always depressed at the end of Christmas Day, in large part because I will not get to hear all the beautiful music that I love for another year...

Hmmm...

"Christmas Wrapping", which someone already posted.

Then there's this (god forgive me, but it's a guilty pleasure):

And this, especially after 4:17:

Some older, old school:

And then this bit of awesomeness and a great cover of it:

Corny, but I watched it a zillion times as a kid and so still love it:
Christmas Chimes Are Calling Santa

Musically, it's great. But it's the most f**king depressing Christmas song ever.
I don't find it depressing; I like its honesty. Whoever did the subtitled lyrics screwed them up, by the way.

Pure power as the song was meant to be sung ... Mahilia!!!!
This song is meant to be sung to the audience and the heavens simultaneously ... and Jackson does just that.

I hate Xmas songs, all of them...and if my wife plays any of them one MORE TIME IM GUNNAA......

LMAO

We have a CD jukebox on my wall in our living room so our kids always got to play many different Christmas songs ... we have at least 500 songs in it ... maybe more ... this was always their favorite.

Posted this in another thread somewhere, but this really is my favorite.

His face when he says "an ill reindeer" makes the video.

What about Merry Mutafu**in; Christmas? by Easy-E?

I am so glad our kids have outgrown Elmo. Elmo, The Wiggles and the Barbie movies. Good riddance

With that said, I miss that age. A lot easier than teenagers!

I actually kinda enjoy that one too, but wasn't sure if that one would fly in here.

I finally got around to watching, "Straight Outta Compton" and the memories from that whole 1989-1994 hip-hop era just came rushing back. When I saw your post, I immediately thought of that.

And yea....that song is harsh and not for this forum.....but that was NWA/Easy-E.

Yep, hard to believe that was a quarter century ago. My real favorite came a little after...Wu. Too bad there wasn't really ever a real (not Dashing) Wu Christmas song...
