If we're going to go with Italian singers here's a pretty good one. If only he'd look up once in a while...

I like this one too, as well as the original "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Judy Garland.

Reading through this thread I now feel good about myself that I cannot be the only one who immediately makes the Sirius XM radio Christmas music station my No. 1 choice the moment it begins each year, sometime around mid-November. I am always depressed at the end of Christmas Day, in large part because I will not get to hear all the beautiful music that I love for another year...

Any Judy Garland song is fine by me. If I had to choose one song over any others of any kind, Garland's The Man That Got Away would be right there.

As for the depression, it's only natural to be thinking of people we lose on Christmas. I'm pretty sure that at some point soon I'm going to be holding my wife because she'll be in tears over the thought of her parents.

As for the music, we can always keep this thread going during the year. I've enjoyed it very much so far.

MOST f'N ANNOYING XMAS SONG EVER ...

Boy were you right. I'll have to remember this one when I start a Least Favorite Christmas Song thread.

I love hearing anything by the Carpenters, it is so nostalgic for me but my enjoyment can't suppress the thoughts of Karen and her way too premature demise.

I get the same reaction from listening to Jimi Hendrix.

Bing Crosby, I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas.

Eazy e - if i could post the title i would

Bowie and Crosby Drummer boy/Peace on earth

Bowie did that song with Cosby because Bowies Mother adored Bing.

It almost didnt happen because Bowie demanded something. I forgot what it was.

Judy Garland was a major talent.

No reason to feel sad Deb.

here is another one like

OK, not quite sure where to put this one; best or worst Christmas songs, but this is really well-written and is an upbeat song about the end of mankind, presented in the inimitable style of Wierd Al Yankevich.

I looked through about half of this thread so if this was put up before, too bad.

I like this different rendition of Silent Night.
