I think the Jets get to keep their 1st now so they can draft another bust they can’t afford to pay because Rodgers is collecting all the cash playing video game golf.
I'm definitely glad he's finally getting hit. I'll never forget that first meeting last year where players let up as he was headed to the sideline and he took advantage and then turned back in and picked up yards. In the second meeting, they didn't fall for it and hit him repeatedly. He claimed ahead of the offseason he was going to alter his play and start being smarter about that. Certainly hasn't been the case so far.
Would not at all be surprised if he just retired. Which would increase his cap hit in 2024 from $17M to over $60M with all of his void years accelerating.
