I can't remember the last time Brady won a game getting the ball with so little time remaining...I've seen him do it with 2 mins and perhaps even 1 minute, but less than 40 seconds?

What? Re-read what I wrote...I said Rodgers did it with 37 seconds left, and he did it against a good team. In fact, Brady had 2 minutes left and no timeouts. Rodgers situation was much more difficult. Again, please remind me if Brady has ever led his team to victory on a GW drive with 37 seconds left and no timeouts. The times that I've seen Brady do it he's had much more time.

Brady has a lot more yards than Rodgers, and he also has more TDs thrown.

But Aaron has a better passer rating.

This whole discussion brings me back to 2012 when Rodgers won the MVP.

Brady was 34 TDs-8 INTs and Rodgers was 39-8. Brady threw for 4800 and Rodgers for 4300.

But the Patriots had the 3rd best offense in NFL history that year. They rushed for 26 TDs, the Packers only had 9 rushing TDs. Heck, Brady himself had 4 rushing TDs. And before anyone brings up the Patriots vaunted running game, it was Ridley with 1200 yards and Danny Woodhead as the 2nd best rusher with 400. We're talking a combined 1600 yards.

Amazes me that so much weight is put on a passer rating and everything else is disregarded, scoring, yards, 3rd down %, etc. Here we are in 2021 and it's the same story. Now, at the end of the day, I don't really care since it is all so subjective, and I really don't think Brady has played as well as his numbers show (in many ways, I thought Brady was stellar and at the top of his game in 2012, and deserved it then much more than he deserves it this year). But... the reasoning is kooky.

I don't know really, I decided to watch the Monday AM shows on Fox and ESPN this morning, and 4 of the shows said it. No mention of Brady on any of the shows.

Where are you seeing that? I am seeing Rodgers and Brady.

If Rodgers has to throw to win he'll crumble based on his history and he seems to actually play as though he wants stats and MVPs. If he's down 2 scores in a big game with his face being constantly put in the dirt, he can't do it. He's the ultimate front runner. He shouldn't play much next week which means his stock won't go down but lets hope Taylor runs for 300 and steals it from him. You can bet that if the roles were reversed and Rodgers would get 40+ TDs and 5000 yards at 44 he would be automatic MVP.

Bill will never pay for Adams. Or Godwin for that matter. Poor Mac. In this league with dynamic offenses galore, he will be feeding from the bottom of the barrel.

LOL, 2:11 is an eternity to get the ball in the end zone, especially if you have the 2 minute warning. And the 49ers are a way better defense than the Jete.
