They can beat anyone but I could say the same thing of the Patriots in the AFC. It's truly parity this year. The Bucs are +900 to win the SB. Their odds have been cut in half over the course of a couple of weeks.
Also, they’re favored by 8 over the Panthers…guessing that means starters will play half the game.
Aaron Rodgers deserves the MVP. Look what he did vs SF earlier this year. He leads his team to victory down 28-27 with 37 seconds left and no timeouts. I can't remember the last time Brady won a game getting the ball with so little time remaining...I've seen him do it with 2 mins and perhaps even 1 minute, but less than 40 seconds?
I heard Brady and AB went at it yesterday, long before Bayless mentioned it. Bucs fans saw it on TV--not sure why we're not seeing that exchange replayedIt’s Skip Bayless so take it for what it’s worth but he said AB chewed out Brady on the sideline for focusing too much on Gronk. That’s right, AB chewed out Brady.
Addition by subtraction. This Grayson kid looks pretty good.I heard Brady and AB went at it yesterday, long before Bayless mentioned it. Bucs fans saw it on TV--not sure why we're not seeing that exchange replayed
Having to get a field goal down 1 is exactly the same as getting a touchdown down 5, you are extremely smart and a PHD in mathematics is awaiting you at MIT
So, MVP is down to Aaron Rodgers and JonathanTaylor apparently.
Now, I get it--I don't think Brady and his receivers have been in sync, but the numbers don't lie.
Brady has a lot more yards than Rodgers, and he also has more TDs thrown.
But Aaron has a better passer rating.
This whole discussion brings me back to 2012 when Rodgers won the MVP.
Brady was 34 TDs-8 INTs and Rodgers was 39-8. Brady threw for 4800 and Rodgers for 4300.
But the Patriots had the 3rd best offense in NFL history that year. They rushed for 26 TDs, the Packers only had 9 rushing TDs. Heck, Brady himself had 4 rushing TDs. And before anyone brings up the Patriots vaunted running game, it was Ridley with 1200 yards and Danny Woodhead as the 2nd best rusher with 400. We're talking a combined 1600 yards.
Amazes me that so much weight is put on a passer rating and everything else is disregarded, scoring, yards, 3rd down %, etc. Here we are in 2021 and it's the same story. Now, at the end of the day, I don't really care since it is all so subjective, and I really don't think Brady has played as well as his numbers show (in many ways, I thought Brady was stellar and at the top of his game in 2012, and deserved it then much more than he deserves it this year). But... the reasoning is kooky.
I don't know really, I decided to watch the Monday AM shows on Fox and ESPN this morning, and 4 of the shows said it. No mention of Brady on any of the shows.Down to them where? Are the Vegas odds updated?
Brady not winning MVP = Brady winning SB and SB MVPSo, MVP is down to Aaron Rodgers and JonathanTaylor apparently.

Where are you seeing that? I am seeing Rodgers and Brady. So, MVP is down to Aaron Rodgers and JonathanTaylor apparently.

The media doesn't mean anything. They said Brady would not win it in 2017 the entire season and then he got 40+ votes.I don't know really, I decided to watch the Monday AM shows on Fox and ESPN this morning, and 4 of the shows said it. No mention of Brady on any of the shows.

Bill will never pay for Adams. Or Godwin for that matter. Poor Mac. In this league with dynamic offenses galore, he will be feeding from the bottom of the barrel.A FG drive at the 25 yard line is much different than needing a TD at the 7 yard line. Rodgers also has D. Adams who was the main target in that drive, which I desperately hope the Patriots can pick him up in FA
What? Re-read what I wrote...I said Rodgers did it with 37 seconds left, and he did it against a good team. In fact, Brady had 2 minutes left and no timeouts. Rodgers situation was much more difficult.
