OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

The Panthers are absolutely horrible while the Saints are a .500 team

I venture to bet it will come down to the last half quarter. I think the NE game has more of a blowout feel than this one.

MVP race is over…guess we’ll just have to grin and bear it. Rodgers will have the better record and better efficiency stats…the volume lead for Brady and team output has been lessened over the last few games, to the point it’s no longer a huge factor.

When Rodgers fails again in the postseason, the media will pretend again that the Packers are an incompetent organization, even though they’ve built an outstanding team that will probably be 40-9 over the last three regular seasons. Great QB, great team. Same thimg as Manning. The excuses for postseason losses are mind boggling, like the entire regular season was a mirage.
What separates Brady from all the others is his ability to avoid costly mistakes at the worst times. And even if he does have a mistake like that he's able to come back from it, especially during playoff games against better competition.

Manning has 9 one and done playoffs, many times with the top seed. That tells me that he had an easier time of it during the season and couldn't duplicate that dominance against teams in the playoffs. Brady's as tough in the playoffs as he is against the rest of the teams.

Brady's also pretty physically tough, especially compared to Saint Aaron. You would have thought that Rodgers was going to have his foot amputated the way he was hobbling around after plays, even those that required him to run at full speed. He's such a drama queen.

Personally, I couldn't care less about mvp's, pro bowls and hof's. All I care about are W's and L's. There's no politics involved with those and it all happens on the field.

I know some of you are confident they will win the next 3 and maybe the last game was simply because the Saints are in TB's heads, but I think they are going to get beat by CAR in 1 game and limp into the playoffs. NO was good and physical but they couldn't do ANYTHING. Something better change.
Go look up Gronk's numbers against the Saints. Then remember that he was basically all that was left of the receiving corps.

You'll feel better.

#Bucs inactives: Punter Bradley (hip) Pinion is inactive. PK Sterling Hofrichter will handle those duties. WR Mike Evans, S Antoine Winfield Jr, OLB Jason Pierre-Paul, CB Pierre Desir, QB and Kyle Trask are inactive.

Le'Veon Bell is active for the Bucs today at Carolina. Wouldn't expect him to play too much, but he's available for depth behind Ronald Jones, especially in pass-catching situations.

Bucs making their season debuts today: WR Justin Watson, DL Benning Potoa'e, P Sterling Hofrichter. Lots of injury and COVID replacements pressed into duty today.

Bucs will have Richard Sherman back active and healthy today. Top three corners are all good to go so he's depth in the secondary -- played some in dime package and as a deep safety before his Achilles injury.

Vaughn, getting his chance today, breaks a 55 yard TD run

Vaughn brings much needed speed. He needs to play more.

He's struggled in all areas of the game when he's played, though. But maybe this'll be a start for him.

And Cam just tossed a gift INT

Bucs turn the INT into 3 points, and take a 10-3 lead

Following a Panthers FG, the Bucs move the ball, get a 3rd and 3, and the TB TE trio can't execute a simple traffic play. FG made. Bucs back up by 7

I really like this Cyril Grayson kid!

Brady to Brate for the TD after a bomb to Grayson. 19-6 with the PAT pending

After a penalty moved the line in, the Bucs went for 2 and failed.

Why they went that route there is a question I'd really like answered.
