OT: Johnny Manziel wore disguise to go to Las Vegas party

I'd love to see Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon party errr play together some day.
I had forgotten about Gordon. When is his suspension up? What a waste

The opportunities afforded to a young man in the position of NFL starting quarterback are mind boggling in their rarity. The world really is their oyster. Even if that effort to be the star QB ultimate fails in terms of multi year stats/W-L it still provides an extreme golden rarity.
Once drafted there really is only one requirement: work hard to be a successful starting QB and all that goes with it. So for this guy to blatantly piss so much of it away just so he can be the party! is telling. It tells me his parents and/or family members and/or coaches and/or authority figures in his life never enforced boundaries. It was 'Johnny is special, Johnny can bring home the wins, don't upset Johnny'.

I could be wrong about that, maybe people did draw boundaries, maybe he was shown consequence, and maybe he just told everyone to screw off 'I'll do what I want' despite consequences. But JM seems to reek of the kind of entitlement feeling that comes from multiple years of never being told 'STFU and do what you are supposed to do or else'.
I dunno. I think the kid has an addiction problem, plain and simple. He may even be masking mental illness issues. He can't handle his life more than he acts entitled. People who are entitled are rude and mean to "the little people." They don't show up drunk for work (repeatedly).

So who ratted him out is all I wanna know lol

Obviously someone not adhering to the "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" code.

Nobody loves Vegas more than me, but really Johnny, you could have waited two days and then partied all you wanted in Vegas. Plus being there the night before your team's final game, and then missing your mandatory concussion protocol screening on gameday morning. Manziel might not get another chance in the NFL. I mean this is truly stupid stuff, that anyone (not named Jones) would not put up with. Frankly he is just not good enough to be this much of a headache! I truly feel sorry for the Cleveland fans, first they had BB and a playoff team, that team up and moves to Baltimore (and wins a Superbowl). And now that have what SI calls the "Factory of Sadness".

Once again, Cleveland enters the off-season, with no quarterback and no HC. In contrast since 1993, the Pats have had three coaches (Parcells, Carroll, and BB, all of which have won Superbowls, and two QBs (Bledsoe and Brady) both of them have won Superbowls and combined to bring their teams to 8 Superbowls!

Patricia should run away from the Cleveland job as fast as you would run from a girl who talks marriage on the first date!! I wouldn't blame (and I think BB would encourage either one of them to go too) either McDaniels of Patricia if they took the Giants job. The Giants have steady ownership and a QB, Cleveland has neither.

He clearly suffers from affluenza.

Technically, never. He has to apply for reinstatement.

As always, TB12 for the win:

......meanwhile Michael Smith probably still thinks the earth is flat:

Suck it, Smith. Bite me, BSPN*.

If I were playing for the Browns, I'd probably wear a disguise to and from work...

But yes, I'll take Gordon...also disguised...as a former Jet.

Let he who has not done the same thing in vegas throw the first stone

I think this is right on the money, Deb. The kid's parents were awed by his fame and are world class enablers who provided no structure or discipline. He's 23 years old, incredibly immature and, if I had to guess, is scared to death. I feel bad for him and hope there's some way he can get himself straightened out.

On a lighter note, if I were the Brown's new GM, I'd called that idiot Grigson in Indianapolis to see if I can get a handful of #1 picks for Manziel. Hey, it worked with Trent Richardson. I know the Colts have a QB but chances are Grigson doesn't know or won't remember. It's just a phone call. Worth a shot anyway.

Or he could just call Jerruh. He'd almost certainly cough up a 4 or a 5 in an instant.

If Johnny were to wear that wig on the Cowboy party bus, he'd probably better watch out for Dean Blandino who in all likelihood would hit on anything blond.

I wish I found Manziel amusing. The kid is a little rich-boy ****wit, plain and simple.
