OT: Bills interested in McCaffrey?

Yeah, they got a guy who never plays (Moss), a guy who is less than mediocre (Singletary), and a rookie (Cook) who the tuned-in radio guys are referring to as a probable bust.

McDermott is 0-3 finding his RB.

What radio guys are saying Cook is a probable bust? Buffalo radio? Haven't heard that one. It looks like he's being brought along slowly. He apparently scored his first TD on a long run but looking at his stats he hasn't played much so far.

I think H Henry will come around the other two oh well. That said I would love for us to make a pitch for young LB with upside don't want to waste Judon's and Barmore's year. I liked Christian McCaffrey very much but I would rather roll with our younger RB's on the roster.

I feel Barmore is dealing with something, I read that he has a knee issue from that Miami game last year.. however the guys a beast.. he's been getting doubled especially since guys been out.. I feel if anyone should be traded it's aghalor, however they'll end up trading KB watch! We need another pass rusher opposite judon.. shaq Thompson or Brian burns.. it's doable! Especially if we can get to above. 500 and look a like a playoff team..

With the Panthers apparently hitting the reset button, and with the Bills reportedly having past interest in running back Christian McCaffrey, reports are emerging that the Bills and Panthers have spoken about McCaffrey.

makes sense for the Panthers. He is talented but if often hurt. If they trade him they would still get a pretty good haul of draft picks for him and there is all kinds of talent at the RB position. For the Bills, they are really desperate for a Super bowl but can they count on McCaffrey to be health?

well bills have had a million 1st round picks over the last 18,19 years.. they finally got a qb, running back is the least of thier worries.. Allen us everything to that team.. they just better hope he last the season . They have a great wr in diggs.. seems like they score every time they touch the ball.. we are rebuilding and I'll concede the 2 losses to them this season.. however going forward patriots will be a force yet again!

That would be awesome for the Pats long term outlook. McCaffrey is injured a lot, has a huge salary, at 5'11 205 he's not going to last much longer... I would love to see Buf trade a bunch of draft pics for him and take on his salary.

LOL. Just stop. YPC based upon 17 carries is meaningless for any running back.

It is far too early to label any rookie a bust but a team without a legitimate RB1 would certainly be playing their 2nd round running back more often, if he impressed the coaches in training camp and/or practice. As we all know, running back is one position where teams can get immediate contributions from rookies. We are seeing that once again this year.

17 carries and 7 targets over 5 games indicates that Cook has not been impressing them thus far.

Does seem weird that Buffalo radio guys would say that. I haven't seen him play much but I remember hearing he had a fumble on first ever time touching the ball and had a few drops, probably why he's being brought along slow. Hard to call anyone a bust with such little playing time.

I’m high on Cook. I loved him when I was watching RBs prior to the Draft.
