I may be in the minority here but I'm beyond sick of all the talk about getting Jimmy G ready for the season. That this is now Jimmy G's team and he's gotta be ready to go. F.uck Jimmy G, his ass is only going to play 4 games. Brady is aiming to play in 15 games. Brady needs reps with all of these new receivers and offensive lineman in a game type environment while he still can get them because he'll be "officially" out of contact with them all for 4 weeks. He's not infallible and won't be able to just step in week 5 without any issues, especially if he doesn't get a single meaningful snap for the entire offseason!
If it were me I would have given Brady at least 75% of all first time reps in both training camp and preseason and then just thrown Jimmy out in September with minimal prep because I think we could still expect to go 2-2. In this weak AFC that would be more than fine.

Nope. That can get done before games on Saturdays and Sundays. She's actually a football fan too but could care less about preseason. Plus this is her good friend's first play that she's directing so I figured I could make one sacrifice.
