In the Brady family household, July 4th means more than just celebrating United States Independence, as it is also the birthday of Tom’s mother Galynn, who celebrated her 73rd birthday by sporting the Patriots latest Super Bowl ring in a heartfelt social media post by the quarterback.
“Happy Birthday to the most SUPER MOM a son could ever ask for!!! I love you Mom I am the luckiest son in the world!!!” read the Instagram caption.
According to recent media reports over the past month, Galynn completed her chemotherapy and radiation treatments following a cancer diagnosis 18 months ago. Tom Brady dedicated his 2016 season and Super Bowl to her.
In a recent interview with ESPN’s E:60 during his trip to East Asia, Tom stated “She’s doing a lot better…The prognosis is good. She’s on the right path. Her treatments have finished and everyone is happy about that.”
