Aint going be pretty if he doesnt score tdsI’m singing it right now.
Just the little obstacle of them already having 1, perhaps 2 better QBs than Cam.
I didn’t mind christiancat. She was as Tebowite as one can get but way less annoying than some of the clowns that showed up here with Tebow. American Champion comes to mind thankfully he/she/it didn’t last long. What does Christiancat think now that Tim Tebow is available again?
Can I just say this? I am thrilled that the Saints picked him as their starter. Not that I think Hill is a starter by any means but he is a competitive devil. Winston is just a TO machine and has very little heart IMO. I am very much looking forward to our week 3 game. That being said, I respect the heck out of Sean Payton and it won't be a cake walk by any means especially if Cam is our starter but I love our chances to win with Winston in there. You guys vastly overrate Winston.
The “flu” haha. The flu is soo 2019 manIt would be great if Bill sent Hoyer to the podium, announcing him as the starter, then Brian gets the "flu" right before kickoff and is inactive.
Great postThe “flu” haha. The flu is soo 2019 man
You didn’t hear, the flu all but died last year.
According to the CDC, we only had 2038 reported cases of the flu in US last year. Down from 38 million in 2019.
Bill might want to go with another medical issue, because covid Cleary All but eliminated the flu........
Great post
OT-ish - maybe you're being figurative, but is that rest-every-player-for-one-game rule now in effect? I haven't been paying close attention.Same. I wonder if BB has a legit concern that Jones’ body wouldn’t last 17 games as a rookie.
It’s a bit surprising to say « arguably ».Let's be honest. Belichick has completely screwed up the team's QB situation over the past two/three years. His drafting decisions have been mediocre at best over that time, probably before. His career overall arguably makes him the GOAT: fine. But recently, he's been a good coach, no longer a great one, and a lousy GM. Given this decline, I expect him to make a lousy choice here. That choice is starting a used-up waste-of-space, Cam Newton.
Belichick Quotes
7/31- " Cam is the starter".
8/14- " Cam is the starter".
8/21- "Cam is the starter".
8/26- "I don’t really have a timetable for that”.
Bill is mind f___ing both players. I think it's great.
I think tonight's preseason game decides it.
You are too good of a poster to try to rationally argue with the irrational. It’s a bit surprising to say « arguably ».
BB is the best coach of alltime. There is no equal. He’s won MORE in the free agency / rich player era than coaches who had basically ownership over the players (and thus would dominate if they hit on key pieces).
I am curious : to all posters who think BB is merely a coattails rider of Brady - what all time coaches DIDN’T have either excellent QB play or a roster so stacked it could win with an avg QB.
Who were the QBs for the following greats ?
Lambeau
Noll
Walsh
Shula
Lombardi
Gibbs won with several QBs. His teams were SUPER stacked. Amazing talent on those rosters.
I don’t know. The hysteria surrounding Brady’s departure and the subsequent retooling (which is not even in year 2 yet) is gaining steam.
« Belichick has completely screwed up the team’s QB situation »…. He signed a former MVP in year one (which was NOT a good year) and he drafted a Heisman finalist coming off a historic Championship in year two. Is that completely screwed up ? It might not work. Jones might not pan out. But I’d not say BB has completely screwed it up at QB. Unless, of course, any move that excludes the greatest QB ever to return is a « screw up »…
