Game Day Thread Official Pre-season Gameday Thread. Bears @ Patriots (Week 2)

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Great play by blount

Wait...what?

It most certainly is Tom Terrific's team, which is exactly why BB already named him the starter for week five.

Missing a few/several games does not change a darn thing.

Do you go to stand up sets and tell the comedians why they're wrong?

Jimmy starting off with a nice safe pass.

Blount still moving very well....

One player for the Bears that has impressed me the most in the first half is Jeremy Langford. The offseason weight gain has not hindered his quickness and acceleration, and he has made some nice cuts and YAC tonight.

Odd you bring that up b/c I pounded the tables to take him early in last year's fourth. I think he'd have made a solid addition as a dual threat RB.

We took Geno Grissom instead, after taking Flowers four picks earlier--or vice versa.

That was a seriously sweet move by Blount. Running with purpose.

Well Dobson has 1 more catch than the Loch Ness Monster tonight.

Hogan why you hold? You didn't have to : /

JG in a nice groove right now

Jimmy staying calm under pressure..nice checkdown

Garoppolo looks pretty comfortable standing in and throwing against incoming pressure. Considering how many young QBs get rattled on plays like these, it's a pretty encouraging sign. He still isn't consistent enough with his accuracy, but his presence seems to be there.

Not sure what you mean, bud, but any idea that it's not TB12's team anymore doesn't sit well with me.

Edit: I'm guessing that you're suggesting the comment was so silly that it didn't even deserve a response. In hindsight, I would agree with you.

Chatham is way too logical

1st and 1. That is rare.

That kind of D and D begs for play action deep pass.

Uh oh, here comes Fleming.
