They are pretty even in talent level and it will be mistakes that decide the game. Protect the ball, okay fundamentally sound and they win. They need to play like alot of teams played them for years and years... they need to empty the playbook the best they can and be aggressive. If they play as though they are waiting for mistakes or as if it's an even playing field in terms of talent, especially at QB, they will lose. Please make Mcdermott cry on the sidelines.
Patriot injury report.....Barmore limited and not dnp good news on Wynn as well
Some twentysomething glorified intern must have done that. You’ve got to be kidding me?! That the dumbest question I’ve ever seen posted. “If our rookie starting QB struggles in the first few series of his first playoff game, do you want to destroy his confidence forever and completely give up on the guy and look for another QB in year 2, and instead give Brian Hoyer a chance, a guy who has a proven track record of requiring a diaper during playoff games?”
For what it’s worth, I am extremely excited. So hand up, I still have that excitement!Multiple reason. Some or all may apply
1. The team is staggering into the playoffs
2. Expectations are low
3. A good part of the fan base demographic are pink hats
4. Their hero is in Tampa
5. New Englanders are a pessimistic bunch to begin with

I'm incredibly excited. Dawn of Dynasty 3. No question the team has talent gaps and Mac is still learning the ways of the NFL world but there is nothing better than hope realized...even if it's someday and not Saturday. For what it’s worth, I am extremely excited. However, my excitement is certainly not at the same level it would have been 5 years ago. Why? I used to get amped and geared up for an awesome playoff run where I genuinely expected us to make it to the Super Bowl. While I’m excited about Saturday, I recognize that we are the (somewhat slight) underdogs. I think there’s at least a 50% chance that our season is over 5 days from now and it ended with losing 4 of 5 games and Mac coming down to earth a bit. That makes me more nervous and a little sad. It’s hard to get AS fired up while simultaneously preparing for the fact that the expected outcome is a wildcard loss, although I am very excited for the possibility of the win.
Maybe that's why we signed Leblanc to active roster. Dude has actual game experience ..Mills is on the Covid list… and I’ve heard he’s unvaxxed. Brutal. We do not have the necessary secondary depth to have that not be an issue.
Yeah I’m guessing these moves aren’t coincidentalMaybe that's why we signed Leblanc to active roster. Dude has actual game experience ..
I'm worried about going from cold to hot to coldToday's weather is good to help the team, especially Mac, prepare for game conditions. Definitely better than turning up the heat inside to got them ready for Miami,
Well yes but the fact that we have to throw in “if it’s someday and not Saturday” is kind of the point. With respect to how excited I am for next year and the year after that… VERY. But my excitement for this game itself is different than that of games during the last few times we were in the playoffs.I'm incredibly excited. Dawn of Dynasty 3. Why? Honest question.Well yes but the fact that we have to throw in “if it’s someday and not Saturday” is kind of the point.
