From what I could see, Raiders had Masterson parked over the middle to take away the easy under. His eyes were on Mac all the way so the middle was closed all the way through, and Mac just threw it in there anyway. Was that C2 just a look?
It was a 2x2 formation where they kept the TE in to block (along with the HB). This means Bourne is the only receiver on the strong side when he ran that 10-12 yard In route. So, the SS can cheat in a bit because there is no one else to cover...but Bourne was still open on that in route if Mac had a passing lane, before he moved around.
I'm going to have to add a thing to the contest for @Joker and I to be able to predict field goals and punts to make things interesting if things don't improve. Definitely a tough preseason for the offense. Hopefully things get a little better by the time we get to the regular season.
