28 sacks is pathetic for a team... to your point he had weapons then and he has weapons now. Also factor in.. the many reasons that we should be hungry for a win.. the embarrassing losses to them last 2 times we played, Josh getting fired, Geno coming here last season and carving us up. Geno was a first round pick who didn't look the part and found his niche later in his career.
Agreed, 2nd round pick however.

Ridiculous or realistic ? I didn’t say they’d lose to every QB. But “yes” I do believe that every QB in the league could potentially beat them. I don’t feel that every QB in the league could beat the Eagles atm.
The Eagles should have lost the other night.

First NFL game and/or start for Campbell, Henderson, Wilson, Woodson, Borgales, Ashby, Bryant. Is Chism active?

….and still won. Which makes my point. They can be bad vs a legit QB and win. They can’t lose to a bottom five QB. I think NE can if they play poorly.

Another year -- another example of pre-game shows sucking.

What fkn point is that?

With the sloppy weather this game is truly a toss up. Let's hope our team can hang onto the ball better than the Raiders.
Raiders played very well in a snowy game many years ago despite the predictions otherwise.

We needed the rain.
That's how I'm looking at it

What is the purpose of having inactives? I know it’s a league rule, but why doesn’t the league just allow every team to suit up all 53 players? Is a CBA thing?

In theory it is to avoid too much specialization of players on the roster, of which there is already an abundance.

Fortunately the inactive players still get a full game day check per CBA rules.

With that I am going to lock the pre-game thread, as the game-day thread is now open.
