I’m taking this as a sign Cambell’s ankle is perfectly fine. With no call ups from the PS and few OL, it has to be a good indication!

A lineman's ankle would need to be falling off for them to miss a game. I was never worried.

As a house keeping thought, how do people feel about a college game thread on here every weekend?

Our D was very bad last year, and the pass rush was abysmal. So not going to crown him for that game.
Geno had a good completion percentage and over 4300 yds, but his td/int ratio 21/15 (1.4 to 1) is very very pedestrian.
For Context, Maye's td/int ratio of 15/10 (1.5 to 1) was better....as a rook.....with horrible weapons...an abomination of an O-line, and next level garbage coaching.
Geno is a fine player, that's about it.

28 sacks is pathetic for a team... to your point he had weapons then and he has weapons now. Also factor in.. the many reasons that we should be hungry for a win.. the embarrassing losses to them last 2 times we played, Josh getting fired, Geno coming here last season and carving us up. Geno was a first round pick who didn't look the part and found his niche later in his career.

Patricia's offense(while offensive) was better than the one after it with All-Star BOB.
Mac Jones sucked, no one ruined that boy.

Also, with the reports that recently came out (or maybe they were out for a while) that BB did not speak to Jones or BOB is a perfect example of disfunction. Not surprised at all that BOBs offense wasn’t better. Bill is a petty petty asshat.

Agreed. Josh McDaniels and Doug Marrone - two former head coaches and lifers at their respective roles on Mike Vrabel's staff. Just think what might have been has BB had these two guys in 2023 instead of Matt Patricia and Joe Judge screwing up Mack Jones.

I see the offense looking crisp, fairly simple in Game 1, and leaning heavily on the backfield and tight ends while the line finds its rhythm. Smash mouth football going straight at Max Crosby all day with a little Drake Maye mixed in. My line for Maye is 14/21 with a fumble and Shaughnessy calling for him to be traded.

You only saw it if you watched him walking back with the Boyz
