Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

It was bad. Even for Bill, Bill was needlessly prickish.
Um... that's Bill all the time.

Seems like the quarterback and the head coach aren't on the same page about the severity of the injury. Year two and Mac already seems a little disgruntled with the organization. Who can blame him?... made to work with Patricia and Judge, his favorite receiver getting squeezed out of the offense, a new offense at that, which isn't exactly helping his INT%. Right now my guess is Mac may not see a second contract in New England.

Yeah no thanks on that. Unfair disadvantage for the Bucs. Come up with plan C.

I wasn't expecting that Godwin would be ready for this week. That would be a huge boost to the offense. Obviously.

There are like 6 professional standard football stadiums in Florida why the hell move to Minneapolis?

This is the NFL we're talking about. The same dimwits who suspended a player for 4 games for maybe being aware of a few marginally deflated footballs.

Looks like Godwin/Jones and Smith all practiced today. If all goes well Miller will be back to WR 6 where he belongs lol.

rookie TE Cade Otton, out last week due to the passing of his mother, is back with the team and was at practice today.

Here’s today’s #Bucs injury report. A bit more encouraging than last Wednesday

Been digging today and uncovered this: Through the season's first 3 games, the #Bucs have gotten the least amount of receiving production from their TE position (9 catches, 84 yards, 0 TDs) since the first 3 games of 2013 (4 catches, 44 yards, 0 TDs)

I didn't think Gronk was coming back but I'm slowly changing my mind.

Shades of 2019

Some of this is because there's not a TE1 on the roster. But some of it is because of the way the team's been running the ball more, and keeping the TEs in more on passing downs, in order to protect that OL as it gets adjusted to the NFL (and as it waits for the return of Smith at LT). Even without Gronk, we should see more passing production from the position as we get deeper into the season.

The main thing I got from this video are the mistakes by Miller resulting in incompletions and making Brady look bad.

We might see less. With potentially Godwin, Evans and Jones running routes who's looking at Kyle Rudolph? I've given up on the TE position for the season. I'm still holding out hope that Rachaad White or Ke'Shawn Vaughn get going in the passing game.

Where's this Deven Thompkins that everyone was raving about in the preseason? Maybe it's time to cut Miller and give this guy a shot as the 5th or 6th receiver.

What a disaster season for the Bill lovers. Crappy offense, crappy coaches and now Mac is hurt with the Pats pressuring him to return sooner than he wants. Dumpster fire. Oh and Hoyer at QB. LOL

We need a reset soon. Give BB a nice office job and give Sean Payton a blank check next year.

With the Bucs holding their first three opponents to just 27 total points, linebacker Devin White has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.

Devin White, named as NFC Defensive Player of the Month, not only leads the Bucs with 24 total tackles, but with three sacks as well. Showing much of the same impact he did in Bucs' Super Bowl season in 2020.
