Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Hasn't BB been voted the number 1 coach for 10+ years? Never understood how people could jump from one team and root for another. Oh well. lol
I wouldn't understand that either. Perhaps if people wouldn't frame it as jumping from rooting for one team to rooting for another. I can be a fan of the Pats and a fan of Brady. I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I will be at Gillette to root for the Pats and against the Ravens opening night. I will drive 3 hours to be there.....wait list member since 99 and season ticket holder since 2009.

i am not disagreeing with everything you say.

I am not posting in main forum anymore because it’s tiring to be call a Bucs fan every time I post something that people disagree with just because I want to still follow Brady and talk about him with other Pats fan. And it’s a little disheartening for me when a mod is doing it too.

I've been a member here since 2006, and I still get that same kind of nonsense. My suggestion (unasked) is that you put the biggest pain in the ass offenders on ignore. They're not worth your time.

Bucs have started making moves to get down to Tuesday's 53-man roster cutdown. Rookie corner Kyler McMichael has been waived. Good shot at returning on practice squad with post-draft guaranteed money.

Another cut for Bucs, who are waiving undrafted rookie receiver Jerreth Sterns, who caught a touchdown in preseason opener. Led I-A in catches, yards, TDs at Western Kentucky last year, but size works against him more in the NFL.

Bucs have waived rookie outside linebacker Andre Anthony, their seventh-round pick from LSU. Had two sacks in preseason, and came back healthy after an ACL tear last fall. Could be back on practice squad.

I don't root for players, I root for teams. The Patriots, unlike you who decides to root for Tampa. Again, I'll say it another time, why not go to the Tampa Bay fan site where you can root for them as you please.
Perhaps the pro shop should stop selling jerseys.....you don't get fans rooting for players. I don't get fans that don't.

This isn't a Bucs forum, this is a Brady sub forum for following Brady's post NE career.

Nothing odd about it. What's odd are people coming over hear to complain about it.

Of course, THIS is a Bucs THREAD! Ninety-percent of the posts here are about Tampa Bay players/coaches/developments, apart from Brady. Above and beyond Brady it's taken on a life of its own. Hell, even Lord Dis Array expressed interest in it continuing after Brady's (first) retirement.

Ian specifically made this to shut you whiners up and you still complain

I never complained about posts specific to Brady, anywhere. I think you can trace most of the main forum complaints to BB/Pats bashers from this place.

I think a lot of you misunderstand. The original thread started by PatsBoy(which I hope he's okay) was meant to follow Tom's new endeavor with a new team. There's no rooting for Tampa or anything it's mainly wishing Tom does well. Of course a lot of people cried to you and the other mods and thus this forum was created. The irony is the ones who complained to kick out all things TB12 in the main forum love to venture here a lot. The censorship of the main forum has gotten ridiculous too

I will openly be a bucs fan as long as the GOAT is there I don’t care what them fools say

If that happens it will be a challenge to watch him. It wad easy being in Tampa, a divisional rival is another story

To be honest the hats led by Mac deserve to watch Brady hang 50 with Hill/Waddle/Edmonds hell Gronk might come back to stick it to them too

When Brady leaves the Bucs I’m going to root for them to immediately go 0-17 because it makes Brady look better.

Anyway,

Come on Tom you’re not fooling anyone by leading off with family. You hate them, they hate you, they’re only getting in your way.

Bucs’ fourth cut today is guard Sadarius Hutcherson, who came back healthy after missing all of his rookie year with a torn ACL. @JCAllenNFL had that one first.

And there you have it. Exhibit A illustrating the anti-Patriots nonsense people have observed and rightfully complained about in the main forum. You guys are your own worst enemies.

It is a phenomena not just here but other Pats forums. Any criticism of Bill is met with immediately with a pro-Brady slant. Even well respected posters who are not fans of Brady are accused of being Bradites. I suppose it was inevitable in some ways given the nature of the split between the two and Brady going on to win the SB in year one while Bill floundered with Newton. But it really has ruined the forums. It's a shame.

You're absolutely right, and it's killing discourse here. But that sort of thinking is not limited to just Patriots boards, unfortunately. It's everywhere on the internet today. It's not restricted to sports, or forums. Site after site has fallen to the change from being an arena for discussion to being an arena for indoctrination.

Oh, the irony. Observations like this ALWAYS bewilder those who consider themselves above it all and not contributing to the problem.

Bucs have waived safety Chris Cooper, who made last year's initial roster but spent the season on practice squad. Good special-teams player, could be back on practice squad.

So undrafted rookie safety Nolan Turner has outlasted the two safeties who spent all of last year on the Bucs' practice squad, Troy Warner and Chris Cooper, both among their cuts. If they keep a fifth safety, it's Turner.

I usually don't come here because of the tampa fans, but when I get pm'd about trolling I have to stop by and say hi. Most of the time I'm on the main board though.
Seems to me the person PM'ing you is doing so just stir crap up for no reason.

I seriously hope you consider that a possibility and if that turns out to be the case either ignore their future PMs or kindly encourage them to just ignore this thread.

This thread is filled with Patriots fans, not Tampa fans. Our Fandom for both Brady and the Pats does not require anyones seal of approval.

We don't want to post on other forums, because this subforum is for Pats fans who want to follow Brady.

I have zero interest in who the future QB of the Bucs might be or who were their great former players

A troll no doubt PMs her. Probably MAC10. Hell probably PM her after this post. I have put him on ignore but I took him off and mute him now because on ignore you miss out on some threads that are useful that I could learn something in. I urge everyone to take the same path. We already know what he's going to say, so let him talk to the air. I'm dome with th F***

Rodgers won the MVP 4 times because without Rodgers the Packers win nada, zip, zero. On the other hand, the Patriots won 11 games one year with Brady hurt and out.
and thats false. First what has GB won with rodgers? Pats won 6 superbowls and bucs won 1...what have they won without Brady? Not even a playoff game. Here is something else. 2017 packers went 7-9 Rodgers was hurt most of the year, in 2018 rodgers played every game....they went 6-9-1 ....so how were they better? Now lets take the pats. 2000 Pats go 5-11 2001 Brady comes in after game 2 goes 11-3 2007 pats go 16-0, without brady go 10-5 without him, 5 more losses is usually considered a drop off. Now 2019, pats go 12-4, 2020 pats go 7-9....then 10-7 so thats 17-15 since Brady left. almost a .500 record but for 20 years team was .743 winning pct with him....without him? About .500. So I guess it comes down to, without rodgers GB is nothing, with him,,, well they still dont win anything. With Brady pats are in the superbowl half the time, without him, well they dont even win a playoff game.

I never got this exclusive club **** because of who you root for. Sports is entertainment. If you want to root for a player or a team, o0r whatever, do it. Who cares. I never got this, oh there are rules, if you root for this you can root for that crap. People really need to understand, rooting for a team does not make you special.
