Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Hey, this thread is reserved for Buccaneers praise, NOT Patriots bashing. Oh, wait ...
Not bashing I was just commenting on another post since that is the perception. It's a fact the Patriots are not well perceived right now by a lot of pundits even with BB coaching the team and that's some evidence of that.

It’s an ESPN list, so it’s worthless. There’s probably a few players who easily should have been on there from the Pats. Without looking it up, I’d assume that the #1 player for the Disney brand is mixed race Patrick Mahomes. A little bit of cum shoots out into the ESPN analysts’ pants whenever a black QB is doing well.
Yeah. I didn't go through the whole list so who knows for sure but I'm sure I could find players that I can swap out for Patriots. Your assumption is correct about #1. I heard his wife and brother make Tik Tok videos that people talk about a lot so that probably counts for something.

Uh-huh. Just a coincidence it's being discussed here, then, I suppose. Same place where Lord Dis Array delights in calling Jimmy Garoppolo a "jag."

Lmao couldn't have said it better myself. I'll repeat it there's a lot of small **** energy going around in this board by the "ReAl PaTR1ioTs" fans
“I’m such a big Pats fan that I no longer root/care about what happens to Tom Brady.”

-A colossal loser

Ultimately I find the constant trolling of this thread bizarre. Not due to the trolling itself because this is the internet and no space is safe. But this sub-forum and thread were created with the express written intent of, supposedly, not clogging up the main Patriots forum with news about an ex-player. Which I find a questionable decision but fine, it’s not my website. So the admins make the dedicated Brady forum far away from the eyes of these alleged HardCore laundry over players fans but it’s still brigaded by them anyway. So what’s the point. Might as well let these threads exist on the main forum.

Why is that being a "colossal loser"? Some people root exclusively for team over individual. For example, I personally acknowledge TB12 as GOAT and respect his continuing on-field mastery. I don't wish him ill but am no longer emotionally invested enough to actively root for him. I'll definitely watch him play, though, because I like good football.

Usually gives away that the person behind that post doesn’t have many hobbies, or much of a social life, outside of being a Patriots fan. I can get more personal and detail the biggest haters in this thread, if you’d like. But I thought I would keep things generalized and be nice.

Careful bro you're going to get your posts deleted. Yet I can be called a Bradyite, bozo, clown, *****, etc for rooting for the GOAT

You don't fit the mold he made. I think he was talking about the ones that knock down Brady to prove they're Pats fans, and they feel the the need to do that continuously.

Yeah I don't think you fit what he was alluding to.

Some actually rooted for Kansas City, The Colts, even the Jets to see Brady lose

I know it was talked about a little bit already but I just wanted to remind everyone that at 45, Tom Brady was just chosen as the top player in the top 100 players named by his peers. It is not a meaningless achievement. It doesn't predict future performance but it is the ultimate compliment for the job he has already done. Congratulations Tom Brady

Yeah, I mean look at some of the biggest haters in here. Two geezers on death’s doorstep. One whose life revolves around ****posting and the other who is loaded with enough morphine to sedate a small nation state. Then you have Pork, whose biggest accomplishment in life is that he graduated from college, likely resembles Brian Stelter, solicited company from the board because he was going to the Super Bowl by himself (no friends), and is on here 12 months out of the year. These people are lowlifes who are clearly overcompensating.

Put another way, would anyone look at a guy like this…

… or this guy…

… or this guy…

… or, since I just watched the Malice in the Palace documentary, a guy like this…

…and think that these dudes are winning at life? That they have well-rounded personalities outside of being a super fan of a professional sports team? I sure as hell wouldn’t. They all look like clowns to me.

and thats false. First what has GB won with rodgers? Pats won 6 superbowls and bucs won 1...what have they won without Brady? Not even a playoff game. Here is something else. 2017 packers went 7-9 Rodgers was hurt most of the year, in 2018 rodgers played every game....they went 6-9-1 ....so how were they better? Now lets take the pats. 2000 Pats go 5-11 2001 Brady comes in after game 2 goes 11-3 2007 pats go 16-0, without brady go 10-5 without him, 5 more losses is usually considered a drop off. Now 2019, pats go 12-4, 2020 pats go 7-9....then 10-7 so thats 17-15 since Brady left. almost a .500 record but for 20 years team was .743 winning pct with him....without him? About .500. So I guess it comes down to, without rodgers GB is nothing, with him,,, well they still dont win anything. With Brady pats are in the superbowl half the time, without him, well they dont even win a playoff game.
Of course Brady is better than Rodgers. Of course the Patriots have done better with Brady and a lot worse without him.

My main point in this Tom Brady forum is that as much as I like Brady and am so thankful we had him for the time we did, he is gone now. Do I root for him to win though? I'd rather see him win than lose I suppose. Do I watch nationally televised Bucs games? Not always, but often now because of Brady. But, I'm sure you'll agree, that it's nowhere near the same. I feel good when Brady wins kinda but it doesn't serve us as Pats fans. The bottom line: It was great while it lasted but it's over. Time to move on and concentrate on what we have in Foxborough and hope for the best. Sure we can look back just like I look back at Orr or Bird, but I can't hang on to Brady anymore. I suppose there's a place for this Tom Brady Forum, but then again I'm not sure it isn't better to just move on as Pats fans and think of Brady in the past.

My 2 cents.

They're all fat

Brady will play the Chiefs, Steelers, Browns, Ravens and Bengals this season. He could be giving a lot of help to a Patriots team that will probably be fighting for a wild card spot in the AFC.

Obviously the Brady haters will still cheer against him lol

Yes, how can you be emotionally invested in a guy who plays for another team? Brady's a great football player, but he does nothing anymore for me as a Pats fan.

I've seen that guy in the first photo at Gillette a bunch of times. He sat pretty close to me at one game. I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. He's an authentic Pats fan through and through. That's the impression I got of him anyway. A big contrast from some Brady hating fans I saw in 2018. All dressed in camo Pats jerseys, screaming negative Brady and JMAC chants(for kneeling during the National Anthem) throughout the game. Our section got the last laugh when Brady led a game winning drive in the 4th quarter. I look back at it now and wonder if Our number 1 troll wasn't the fat fk dressed in the military Pats jersey.

I don’t know if they’re bad people or not. That isn’t what I was attempting to convey, either. I just think they’re dudes who have a big part of their personalities centered around believing that they’re the biggest fans of a professional sports franchise. That guy may be nice but, at the end of the day, he’s still a morbidly obese, middle-aged man who paints his face on Sundays from September until December-January. I’d wager he has very little hobbies outside of that. Working out clearly isn’t one of them. I think the biggest trolls in this thread or in this sub forum have similar issues.

I always have to laugh when Kon-job posts this kinda stuff. He's only got about 2 million posts in here. Not to mention he doesn't even live in New England.

You haven't posted in the main board in forever. You're more of a Brady fan than me bro
