Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

BB seems to get a lot of credit for the team winning as many as 7 games in 2020. Maybe it's just me but I actually don't think that was one of Bill's better seasons as a coach. Ironic eh?

You could also argue that Bill cost the Patriots the division last year by the decision he made at the end of the Bucs game. I had no doubt Mac converts the 4th and 3 and Patriots win.
Bill coached it very conservatively last season with Mac.

4th and 3 with a chance to seal victory seems like a no Brainerd.

The WC game against the Bills, when it became apparent the Def wasn't stopping them was the time to see what Mac could do with an aggressive offense in a worse case scenario.

Too me it was a shame not seeing how Mac would have responded.

I'll say it for the millionth time: there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with continuing to be a Brady fan, wishing him to do well and following his continued football exploits. The existence of this pathetic Buccaneers fan thread on Patsfans.com, however, is way, way, WAY over the top. The only thing worse is Bucs fans and Brady fans dumping on BB and the Pats, which is part of the syndrome.
This isn't a Bucs forum, this is a Brady sub forum for following Brady's post NE career.

Nothing odd about it. What's odd are people coming over hear to complain about it.

Ian specifically made this to shut you whiners up and you still complain

It's not even on the main forum and still people come here to bash. I don't get it. It is easily the most knowledgeable football thread on the web with posters who are civil to one another until the trolls show up because they can't stand that we still enjoy the GOAT.

I respect your opinion. There was no bigger Brady fan than myself. I am a New England Patriot fan first and foremost. I love my coach, but if/when BB leaves, I will no longer support him if he coaches another team. Same with Brady.
But there were bigger fans, and they remain here enjoying his final year of football.

There will never be another Brady but there will always be the Patriots

This isn't his final year. I am betting he signs a 2 year deal with the Fins in the off-season.

I don't root for players, I root for teams. The Patriots, unlike you who decides to root for Tampa. Again, I'll say it another time, why not go to the Tampa Bay fan site where you can root for them as you please.

If that happens it will be a challenge to watch him. It wad easy being in Tampa, a divisional rival is another story

No you're a Buc fan now, who likes trolling us Pat fans, just admit it. I don't get it, but it is what it is.
Do you go to home games? Season ticket holder? Ever take your kid to a game? What makes you the superior Patriots fan? I'd like to know. Because you're unconditionally loyal to the head coach and now have no use for Brady in another uniform?

As far as I'm concerned Belichick is a long ways away from untouchable. He's made far more game-losing mistakes than Brady. He's not a great GM and he hasn't built a championship roster one time in his career without Brady. On the other hand Brady, who wanted to stay a Patriot with at least a reasonable contract (which wasn't being offered), has won a championship with a loser franchise with a goon as his head coach. Am I trolling you now?... because I wholeheartedly believe and stand behind everything I just said. You even get on my case for repeating myself over and over and over... it's because I'm being real and my opinions haven't changed as I continually butt up against the impenetrable wall of In Bill We Trust on the main forum.

Deleting my posts continues to be disproportionate to the content. Banning me from threads is worse. But as you say, it is what it is.

I also think I probably know who I'm rooting for better than you. I'm a Brady fan who happens to be in a Bucs uniform. If he sticks around beyond this season then he'll likely be in other uniform and whoever it is I'll be rooting for that team too. Doesn't exclude me from being a Patriots. Nor does my choosing not to be in the IBWT club.

Why not just ignore this subforum and stay in the main forum?

This is Ian's board, not yours and he made this. Take it up with him if you don't like it

Because I bleed for the Patriots that's it. I root for them and not a former player, but we've discussed this before and you're done trolling. You add nothing to this forum other than putting my team and my coach down.

Favre won 3 MVPs in a row. Lot of great that did for him.

But hey, Rodgers does obviously place the importance in his MVP recognition above playoff success. Let’s put this into perspective: the Boston Bruins have more recently won a championship than Aaron Rodgers.
It comes down to Belichick. How many SBs has Brady won without Belichick? One. How many SBs has Rodgers won without Belichick? One.

That’s not your role though. You role is not to tell people how to be a patriots fan or silence posters that do not think like you. Never saw that kind of behavior from the other mod.

Your role is to make this place a civil place where every patriots fan that are fans any way they want feel included to get together to talk Patriots.

This team and this coach aren’t yours more than they are mine.

I usually don't come here because of the tampa fans, but when I get pm'd about trolling I have to stop by and say hi. Most of the time I'm on the main board though.

When someone attacks me or insults me, I'm going to go back at them. Someone like you who adds nothing here, goes after me, I'm not ignoring it. I'm calling you out for what you are. If you can't take it, I'm sorry, but then leave. If you personally attack me, you'll no longer be here. I try to be as respectful as I can toward fellow posters. If you don't like my opinion, we can disagree, but let's keep it at a professional level.

Brady has been voted NFL best player by players 4x. Rodgers only 1x.

Brady has 7 SBs, Rodgers has 1 SB.

The media love Rodgers that’s why he wins MVP. The people who play the game knows who is the best
Rodgers won the MVP 4 times because without Rodgers the Packers win nada, zip, zero. On the other hand, the Patriots won 11 games one year with Brady hurt and out.

i am not disagreeing with everything you say.

I am not posting in main forum anymore because it’s tiring to be call a Bucs fan every time I post something that people disagree with just because I want to still follow Brady and talk about him with other Pats fan. And it’s a little disheartening for me when a mod is doing it too.
