It's not just you. Text based communication is notoriously bad for conveying tone, and everyone has different short-hand for different nuances. My boss always ends his texts with elipses, no matter the context. So I'll say I'll be late because I have an appointment (which he's 100% fine with), but his text reply will be "Okay..." which to me sounds like he's skeptical. Drives me bananas.

Does it matter if there are 7 TEs on the roster before TC has opened? Camp bodies are needed.

They're needed at other positions too.
