Curran and his guest claimed that Mac Jones has a MacEnroe level temper when things don't go his way on the field. And he already has a DUI under his belt. So not a great decision maker
Maybe this will be like the Jaylen Brown draft for the Celtics. I was really disappointed because I wanted Buddy Hield. This wasn't true early on, but I think Brown is the better player now. He's my favorite Celtic. Hell, he's probably the only player I like.
I just don't think this kid has the potential to ever be anything more than an above average QB. Top 15, maybe. Hope I am wrong.
Saban must be bummed. Barmore didn't go in the first.
Why did BB risk that?Washington should have made that move. The storylines would have been tremendous.
Mac's DUI pic at age 19...c'mon man...WTF is wrong with you...LOOK at this cherub ...he was probably still a virgin. A DUI in Alabama is like getting a ticket for jaywalking in NYC. You don't like the QB that just led his team to the national championship's potential? Was watching a draft special after the Pats' pick. I hope we draft a WR next. Still a bit thin at the position. Maybe trade a third or fourth for Julio Jones. Whaerever he goes the Falcons are going to have to eat a good chunk of his salary. So money shouldn't be an issue.
I love how they almost booed him off the stage at the beginning making him beg for any applause.you don't like the constant virtue signaling by the Goon?
I don't know. On the one hand, it was needless risk. On the other hand, it worked out, and I don't really know how much of a risk it actually was.Why did BB risk that?
What the hell goes on in the Raiders scouting department?
Wtf are you talking about creepy?
I wanted a qb. We got a QB
I could not give 2 ****s whether it happened the way I expected it to or not.
you really need to get out of moms basement and get a life.
Obsessing over a stranger is not healthy.
I am very happy. We needed a qb and we got one. Whatever bizarre wining or losing scenario you made up in your psychotherapy session is meaningless to me.
Perhaps you should ask your therapist if it’s healthy that you spent months obsessing about a stranger who if shown your user name wouldn’t remember you enough to cite any opinion you had ever posted while you seem to have a photographic memory of me.
I am sure the board is very happy to have thictgread full of your childish trolling if someone who puts zero value on what your opinion is.
Too bad he didn't mock Lawrence to the Patriots, then. He could have done us all a solid with that.Josh Norris just had the best mock draft in The Huddle tracker

Nailed the first 8 and had picks like Collins to the Cards, Jasmin Davis to Redskins, Paye to Colts, Harris to Steelers, Newsom to the Browns, Owen to Ravens and Stokes to the Packers.
He correctly predicted just one shy of half of the picks. Amazing.
The loss seems to be affecting you. Relax. BB did what I thought he would do and not what you wanted.
I won.
You lost.
I'll be very brief. Someone could have traded with MINN and Bill would have had serious egg on his face. He took a severe risk, and he won. I'm very happy that he won. Now the 3 year plan is still in play. How did you go from
"They blew their future"
To
"I won I got the QB"?
How did you go from trade three first round picks to move up to draft One of the top QB prospects
To
I won because they got one?
That was the whole argument. You lost.
Severely lost. It must be embarrassing.
I feel sorry for you.
Do you need me to quote any of the many ridiculous desperation posts you've made in the last few weeks?
You lost
I won.
Games over.
I love it.
I will gloat about this for years to come.
I hope you are right. Once the emotions of losing out on Fields wear off I will be fair. It's not like I am rooting for him to be mediocre or bad. If he can just be a top ten level QB I think we have a steal and can win SuperBowls with the right team around him. What scares me the most is that he turns out to be a little above average. One of the TV hosts brought this up tonight. Think Goff. Decent QB, yiu are happy with him on the rookie contract. but he never becomes good enough to win, to elevate the guys around him. Now in year four or five we have a disaster on our hands- pay a boatload of money to a goodl but not great QB or let him walk for nothing. Fields felt like more of a boom or bust prospect.I think we got the steal of the draft . I think jones will be the second best QB in this draft. I really feel strongly about this. Just give him protection and the playmakers have to do their job.

In Alabama circles the part about the temper was considered somewhat of a positive because it was a freshman characteristic (frankly one of his biggest problems at that stage) that he seemed to completely overcome later on, he worked studiously on it. By the time he was a starter his poise was really one of his greatest strengths. Was watching a draft special after the Pats' pick.
