Mannings play selection (audible) is still top notch. But his arm strength looks very week.l

Yeah, he's making the Steelers D look foolish with his brain.

But his arm is not the same.

NBC just tried to justify Manning's arm-strength by cherry-picking one throw from the nite. The guy just hasn't been throwing spirals.

Peyton is a master at getting Pittsburgh to tip it's hands as far as the zone blitz. If you watch carefully, he likes to key off Polamalu, and you can see he gets Polamalu to betray again and again, and just gets the TE to flex back in to block. Polamalu is just beyond frustrated at this point.

Do you think he plays Pittsburgh's D better than Brady does?

Anyone else notice how much of a wobbly ball Peyton is throwing? Not a tight spiral, but just enough to be able to get the ball to his receivers this evening.

I've been seeing those comments in this thread, but he's not throwing like Pennington or Todd Marinovich out there...I don't see a big issue

He's avoiding TP like the plague. That's where the absence of Clark is showing itself. If Clark was in there, Manning couldn't get away with what he's doing.

So? Doesn't change the fact that right now on that drive, Manning knows Troy's every move because of the pre-snap movement. He's owning him big time.

Either Ryan Clark is way more important than I thought or the Steelers defense got old and slow quickly.

Yep.... Without Clark and Harrison, and using that no huddle, it was easy to for Manning to just key on TP for his calls.

Yeah but how is he able to avoid him? Because he's able to predict his every move. Troy isn't fooling him. I'd say that's owning him. But it's cool
