After bringing in defensive linemen Raheem Brock and Shaun Ellis in for visits this week, the Patriots went in another direction, with ESPNBoston.com reporting they've signed defensive end Mark Anderson on Friday.
Anderson was a fifth-round draft pick for Chicago from the 2006 draft, and spent his career in Chicago until last season when he joined the Texans back ono October 5th. He played in 11 games and had 4 sacks with Houston last year.
He had 12 sacks during his rookie season, which was the most he's had during his NFL career.
If you'd like to get a chance to see him in an interview, here's one I found on YouTube.com following a Bears win over the Lions back in 2009.
