He's avoiding TP like the plague. That's where the absence of Clark is showing itself. If Clark was in there, Manning couldn't get away with what he's doing.

How is that a TD but the old Megatron play wasn't? Don't get it.

I'm not impressed with either team out there tonight. Peter King probably has a "pants tent" (to quote Felger) over Manning's play so far, but I gotta be honest - anytime the guy throws the ball more than 6 yards in the air, it looks painful. He's still an excellent game manager, but his arm looks like its on the verge of being toast. Once a team competent enough to realize this challenges him, I think we'll see the Broncos struggle.

Mannings play selection (audible) is still top notch. But his arm strength looks very week.

The Steelers defense also looks bad. Mannings balls have time to get to the WR's and they are wide open. It shouldn't work that way

Peyton is a master at getting Pittsburgh to tip it's hands as far as the zone blitz. If you watch carefully, he likes to key off Polamalu, and you can see he gets Polamalu to betray again and again, and just gets the TE to flex back in to block. Polamalu is just beyond frustrated at this point.

Anyone else notice how much of a wobbly ball Peyton is throwing? Not a tight spiral, but just enough to be able to get the ball to his receivers this evening.
