Who’s to say he lost at this point?

Who said he did? I am just pointing it out. He had a serious condition. Again it’s a gamble. I don’t know if he will be ready week 1 but at this point it’s better to take it easy with him and have him ready when he’s 100 percent.

Izzo new absentee . T.Flowers, Burkhead limited
i doubt the limited list is complete though..

Britt, almost certainly "limited".
Berrios? He reportedly returned to practice today.
Slater, maybe still.

A real bummer about Michel. He has pro bowl talent

What happened with Michel? Last I knew he had his knee drained and was expected to be back

Yep. Knee procedure was on the 4th, and he was projected, by some in the media, to be back in 10 days or so. That was never an "official" projection (or "expectation"), and it's been 15 days.

Others in the media went so far as to project that Michel might be out the rest of Camp and a week or two into the regular season.

So, the most optimistic projection appears to be fading fast. We can only hope that the most pessimistic projection doesn't come to pass. It may have gained a tad more credibility, but we're not there yet.

I swear I saw multiple media feeds saying he wasn't expected to be back during pre-season but should be back by the regular season start. Maybe I'm thinking about someone else.

Depends on what set of media feeds you're following. Reiss and a couple others said that their "sources" told them Michel would most likely be out "10 days or so". Reiss posted almost a day after Howe and a couple others said that their sources were projecting Michel to be out through (possibly) the first week or two of the regular season.

The thing is that, either way, it's merely speculative media projection based on something other than definitive statements from the medical people who are actually treating Michel (unless they violated HIPAA). IOW, none of those media reports are "fact" or official, and we won't know until Michel shows up at practice, or until the Pats make an official statement about his situation (which may never happen).

Michel could just suddenly show up for practice today, or he might remain in WitSec until the first official Injury Report is released for Week-1.

I don't know about you guys but I would love to see Four Quarters of Jordan Richards on Friday. The man has to showcase himself for his next Time.

i thought he said something on social media where he said “see everyone in week 1.”

@AndyJohnson this one is for you.

And this one is for you
Belichck comments directly related to conversations we have been having about play calling in preseason.
Bill Belichick on Brian Flores: ‘Good job in teaching the players’

“I think Brian and our defensive staff has done a good job in teaching the players and installing our system,” Belichick said. “We haven’t done much game-planning to this point, but we’ll see how that goes as we get into the real games.

“We’re working on things that we need to work on and that’s what we always do in preseason. That’s what we’ve done this year, that’s what we’ve done in the past, that’s what we’ll as long as I’m here. That’s the way it’s always been. That’s the way it’s always going to be because I believe that’s what we need to do, work on the things that we need to work on,” Belichick added.

Hatfields and McCoys
Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper
Cain and Abel
Andy Johnson and PP2

Epic battles all.
