Belichck comments directly related to conversations we have been having about play calling in preseason.
Bill Belichick on Brian Flores: ‘Good job in teaching the players’

“I think Brian and our defensive staff has done a good job in teaching the players and installing our system,” Belichick said. “We haven’t done much game-planning to this point, but we’ll see how that goes as we get into the real games.

“We’re working on things that we need to work on and that’s what we always do in preseason. That’s what we’ve done this year, that’s what we’ve done in the past, that’s what we’ll as long as I’m here. That’s the way it’s always been. That’s the way it’s always going to be because I believe that’s what we need to do, work on the things that we need to work on,” Belichick added.

This is classic belichick speak. All these things are true and help in general sense. It also doesn't give away the intentions of strategic play calling which must remain a mystery to opposing teams. However... As much as he does this , he can't get away from the tendencies demonstrated year after year.

Add to this, the mystery of strategic play calling vs. the execution of these plays by your players and you have the reason why football is such a great game to watch and try to analyze. So... Flores may recognize the talents of certain players or matchups, where the aggressive approach is working. We don't know where the decisions are coming from. Players seem to give Flores credit. Hmm.. players make plays, coaches coach.. gotta like the trends we are seeing but it's still preseason. We shall see...

That is the point, there is no scheme yet, aggressive or conservative. Preseason games are used to work on things, not to game plan. There are no trends or philosophical change to glean from a per season game.

Well if Flores success carries over in the Regular season...to quote Lavar Ball "It will be one and done with the Patriots."

What success are you referring to? It took Patricia 6 years as dc (after the 1 year as pseudo DC like Flores is now) to get a HC job.

Flores was already interviewing last year, however. I don't recall Patricia interviewing that early into his career arc. Maybe I've just forgotten?

The world fell on her.
Man, you say that, but my wife just looked it up (there was recent news about her having to shell out alimony money) and last year she made ...

$56 million dollars

Edit @supafly - sorry I missed and then parroted your post. Apparently you were as astounded as I was at her income.
